Game changer if you have dewalt gear.
Love the idea. Works great. I guess it’s a bit niche, so the price reflects that. But being able to use all my batteries is very useful.Feel it could be cheaper, but it’s well made and works well.Buying this gave me the confidence to buy into the Ryobi garden gear, knowing I’d have lots of batteries.

Works flawlessly with my old blue Ryobi One+ tools.
I'm slowly building my DeWalt collection and this adapter has meant I can use the Dewalt batteries I have to power my Ryobi tools that I haven't replaced yet. Great piece of kit and such a simple idea. Will probably buy another in the near future.

Does the Job
I went for Ryobi tools some years ago and then went for Dewalt as they were a bit more Pro. I have kept some Ryobi tools because the Dewalt alternative was too expensive to just simply replace or did not exist. This battery converter allows me to use the Dewalt XR's on my remaining Ryobi tools.. Great fit and well made. If you look around you can also get Makita to Dewalt converter, this opens up more choices in tool selection. Over the years have been let down by the poor battery life of the Ryobi, some stopped working after 6 months of use and was down to my last Ryobi battery.

Does the job well
Works well - only downside is it can be a little difficult to remove from some tools. Well worth the money.

A great money saver if you have other makes of batteries
A really good product, I use a mix of Ryobi and Dewalt tools and recently bought a Ryobi chainsaw. As I only had 1 5ah Ryobi battery I was not going to get a huge amount of run time out of it before having to down tool and recharge and I did not want to shell out another £60 for another battery. By buying this adaptor I then had 3 5ah Dewalt batteries to use on the chainsaw saving the cost of additional batteries. Happy days!

Does what it says, good quality, easy to fit, easy to remove and cheaper than a Ryobi battery if you already own Dewalt ones!

Good ideas but….
Love the idea that I can use my Dewalt batteries with other makes, and this particular one is good, but the clips on the converter doesn’t hold that well, the result being the the battery comes unclipped from time to time, which is a bit annoying. So far the battery hasn’t fallen off, but does stop the machine working!
