This product arrived as promised, holds the bagel well and is easy to use and clean.

I bought two of these 14 months ago. Came back for two more and sadly they are sold out.HOWEVER...I don't use these acrylic containers for slicing bagels. They never worked that well for me, for that purpose. Instead, I use them to organize our bathroom cabinet. They work great for that!!!(I would have given these five stars except that they don't work for their intended purpose, at least not for me.)Our bathroom cabinet is not very deep. These first perfectly, sitting on the shelf like books (with the narrow end facing out). They're tall enough to hold items upright, like toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste. I love the open slits on the sides because they provide ventilation, allowing toothbrushes to air dry. I also keep a clean tissue in the bottom to soak up drips, which I change often.Each person's toothbrush is stored upside down to keep it clean, and each person has their own container. LOVE how organized my cabinet is!Too bad these are sold out. I went elsewhere to find them and I suspect I may have purchased the last ones available on the internet. Maybe they'll bring them back as organizers for the bathroom!

just missed cutting fingers when trying to cut bagel plactic broke

I see that my husband cannot slice the bagel all the way through without having to turn it. Don't think this bothers him, but it would me if I were the one slicing bagels (but since I don't care for them, I don't use it).

I really like the design but never thought that there was that much variation in bagel sizes! Both of the grocery stores we get them from are about the same...and I can't use it for English muffins. It's too wide.

This is much smaller than I thought it is kind of hard to start the bagel off because my bagels are over the top of the container. It seems you have to hold it a start a cut and continue to hold as you cut it because it just not going to stand up right as you cut. The only reason I got it was I was tired of cutting me and the bagel all lap sided. Used for a guard more than a stand up slicer.

Easy to use and you get even halves

A little flimsy but does the job. A lot sturdier then it looks.

Just what my toaster and I needed for my morning bagel. Now is is sliced and not mangled.
