Mr. Darcy Forever ( Austen Addicts Book 3 )
This Austen Addicts Book takes place three years after Sarah and Mia went to Devon to spend a week at the cottage used in the 1995 filming of Sense and Sensibility. Sarah and Mia meet Alex, who's staying at another cottage down the road, when he and Mia collide while jogging. Mia immediately falls for him since she thinks with her heart, while Sarah is hesitant to be around him since she thinks with her head. In the end, he is wooing both sisters while sleeping with one and marrying the other. Naturally the bond between sisters is broken, and neither sister realizes one has a baby and the other has gotten a divorce. Fast forward three years. Both sisters are in Bath for the Jane Austen Festival. Here we meet some of the characters in future books: Dame Pamela Harcourt, Mrs. Soames, Mrs. Doris Norris, Dan and Robyn Harcourt carrying their five week old daughter, Cassie. The sisters meet the night of the dance, and after Mia's anger has subsided, she agrees to meet Sarah. They reconcile and want to be in each other's life again. And both find love with the right man in Bath. Good story.

SISTERS ARE FOREVER ...
The two main settings in this novel are dreamy places for any Austen fan: first Barton Cottage, or at least the house in Devon used in 1995 film adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, the one to which Marianne and Elinor have to move after their father's death, and then Bath in the days of the Jane Austen Festival.Bath is the place where Catherine Morland met Henry Tilney and it was where Captain Wentworth declared his love to Anne Elliot (p. 61)Sarah is the Elinor-type and as a much elder sister in a family with no parents she has to take care of Mia, Marianne's alter ego in this modern tale. Sarah has the conservatism of Elinor, the prudishness of Fanny Price and suffer from OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) while Mia has the naivety of Catherine Morland, the recklessness of Marianne Dashwood and dreams of being an actress. Could two sisters be more different?Sarah's birthday gift for Mia is a week to spend together, the two of them, at Barton Cottage but her plan will be ruined by an unexpected presence: Alec is the most handsome, fascinating man the two sisters have ever met. Mia loses her head and starts flirting openly with him, Alec seems more interested in Sarah though ...This will be the beginning of the end for Sarah and Mia's close relationship, they have always been more like best friends than sisters. But they can't share the same man, can they?Three years later and a great deal of life after the two sisters are both in Bath for The Jane Austen Festival, none of them knowing of the other's presence. They haven't spoken nor seen each other since their week in Devon.Bath will offer them new chances and new acquaintances ( a Brandon-type and an Edward-Ferrars-type, of course! ) and, especially, an opportunity to meet again. What about the Mr Darcy in the title? Read this lovely romp to the end and he will be there in his wet shirt for Mia, Sarah and all of you. What I especially like in Victoria Connelly's Austen-inspired trilogy is her humor. Her prose is witty and her narration characterized by a very light touch which makes you want to turn the page and never put the book down. You are there - at least I was - giggling all the time. And daydreaming of course! She copes with ordinary life, heroines/heroes with their ordinary misadventures but she succeeds in making them rather extraordinary, really special.Another element I definitely appreciate is her ability to find the Austenesque in present day ordinariness. Bravo, Ms Connelly! These three modern day romances are really sunshine on a rainy days. I've loved the previous two A Weekend with Mr. Darcy Dreaming of Mr. Darcy , this latest one, Mr Darcy Forever, nonetheless.

It gets alittle better, but not much...
After coming off of a very disappointing read with Dreaming of Mr. Darcy, I will give props that it was better...but not much. I just don't get it. There's 2 guys, 2 sisters...and love, THE END. Come on. There's really no romance to speak of, there's no build up to any sort of attraction, its all very flat. Trying to figure out what happened between the 2 sisters to find out why they haven't talked in 3 years is the most interesting part of the book and well, that all gets sorted out in a paragraph in the end. Poor Lloyd and Gabe. Again, I was left feeling that I wanted my money back for the book. Sorry.

Loved it!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel. I love the way it takes us to Bath, and the descriptions of the Jane Austen festival. It made me want to go back to Bath again and this time attend the festival!I enjoyed the comparisons between Sarah and Mia and Elenor and Marianne. I also enjoyed the love the sisters shared for all things Jane Austen.A fun overall read which I enjoyed immensely and would recommend :)

Marvellouse Mr Darcy Forever
Book No. 3 in the Austen Addicts series is a really heart-tugging novel in the series. This is the tale of two sisters one of whom commits one of the cardinal sins between siblings of falling in love with her sister's "boyfriend" and acting on it. We follow their journey of redemption back to understanding. At first I felt the younger sister was a spoilt brat who had lost her way but the reveal in her story towards the end of the book makes her actions so much more understandable. For the older sister, I was in complete sympathy. Despite her difficulties, she tried to do her best in all situations and only made one mistake but it was a devastating mistake. Who can say they haven't done something similar? This is a romance novel with a serious twist to it which I can whole-heartedly recommend.

Most enjoyable trilogy
This last volume is the best of a very good trilogy written by someone who knows her Austen and has a very creative bent to sequels.I made sure I read them in sequence and the relatively small overlap of characters adds a nice twist but each volume does stand alone.Well worth the read, top marks.

Good read, awful proof reader!
This is a very enjoyable light read - it was engaging and charming and witty, and I wanted to get to the end as soon as I could whilst also not wanting the story to end! The only negative I have is the Kindle edition had a very poor proof reader - how someone can confuse "to" and "two", "where" and "were" along with missing out many words and misspelling others is pretty unforgiveable. It really irritated me and it does interrupt the flow of the writing. Worth a read though!

Brilliant!
A brilliant, wonderful book that had me itching to reread all the Jane Austen novels. The line between humour and angst was written beautifully so that I found myself laughing and crying along with the characters. 5 stars and a definite recommended read!

Mr Darcy Forever
I have read all of Victoria Connelly's books and this is yet another fantastic read. You find yourself being drawn into the characters lives and you feel that you are with them in Bath. It has made me want to visit Bath even more than I wanted to before. A brilliant read - well worth buying and I know that I will enjoy reading it again and again.

Brilliant
Have loved all of these. The clever combination of a storyline based on one or other of Jane's original books and then the interlinking of all the people in all the books is so clever and well written. In fact I was sad to have read them all.

Just okay
This one was okay. Not as good as the first one but better than the remaining two which I haven't been able to finish yet. I did like the mention of the occasional character from the first book which made me smile.
