Avoid - defective
I don't use these type of solar balls to put in water so I can't comment on the problems with water. I use them as garden lights either sitting on tables or hanging in macrame planter holders. Even so these lights have failed to perform!I use the slow color change option. The first light I ordered stayed lit only for a few hours. I followed all of the instructions provided about charging. I thought perhaps it was defective so I ordered a replacement - unfortunately the exact same happened with the replacement.- I removed the battery thinking it was the problem however, using my battery tester, I found it to be fully charged.- I also tried using only the white light function and the light DID stay on.It seems there is something wrong with the wiring or connections since the light works on the white function, but quits after a few hours on the color changing option.

Great fx and worth the expense.
There is no remote control included at all, so ignore anything in the ad that mentions it. As for the light, itself, we love it. The colors give a kind of 3D prism effect in the water while they spin. The white outside is glow in the dark, which is kinda cool in its own right.

Bad Product
This item no good. I live in Florida. Lots of sun even this time of year. Come on when dark but only for short period of time. Would not buy again.

The lights spin like a disco ball
I don’t get a ton of sun on the pool, about 65% is all. The lights only last till about ten or eleven at night. They need special care to have them charge enough to last longer.

Don’t buy this product. Worked for one week. Nice light when it did worked.

Perfect for Parties
I gave my Daughter 3 of these for her pool. The only thought would be to find some way to have a slight weight to them to keep them in one general area instead of having the wind blow them all together. She loves them and says they are beautiful in the pool.

Waste of Money-never worked
Waste of money - out of the box - left in sun for a week - nothing!! Tried to open it up to change the battery - impossible!!Don’t buy this floating light - I had to toss it!
