Mom of three- results after two days!!!!
I didn't try any pills except for the fenugreek in my previous pregnancy. However after researching and checking Pinterest reviews this time around I decided to try these pills. I am definitely over 180 lbs so I decided to take 2 pills on each meal as mentioned in the packaging and this was the key!I was blessed with a lot of milk since kid #2 but this time around for kid #3 I had way more milk soon!!The pills have a combination of herbs that are good for having more milk and its much better than purchasing them separately!!! They are not that cheap but they are worth the investment!!!I noticed an increase after two full days of taking them.!!!!!!!!!!!I can honestly say that the combination of the following is helping me out this time around having more milk to freeze before I go have to work. Hope you can try it!!!1) Mommy knows best pills2) Oatmeal - have a cup or two daily3) Power pumping - pump 20 min, rest 10 min, pump 10 min, rest 10 min, pump 10 min (one 30 min session) this will trick you body to supply more.4) drink tons of water5) take naps when baby naps if you canI have been able to freeze at least 50 bags and its only been 6 weeks since we welcome baby #3!!!!I'll be ready with milk supply when I go back to work. :)God bless!!!!

Hope when you feel hopeless...
If you are reading this review then you are most likely struggling with your milk supply. You are maybe starting to feel defeated. I was successful in exclusively breastfeeding (EB) one child, but the second was a different story. After a few weeks of life, failure to thrive, and multiple certified lactation consultants, I found this Lactation Supplement by Mommy Knows Best while searching for the various herbal supplements contained therein. Fenugreek, Blessed Thistle, Fennel Seed, and Goat's Rue (sold separately) were all recommended by the International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) that I had hired. Before taking supplements, I was making less than 1 ounce per feeding :( After starting this supplement combined with Goat's Rue, my milk supply more than doubled. I'm still not makingenough to EB, but every precious drop I make is helping my child grow healthy. And that is why I highly recommend this supplement! Some special notes: I combined this supplement with Goat's Rue originally by the same manufacturer, but then discovered I could buy higher potency certified organic Goat's Rue for less than half the price from Australia via eBay. I was taking the 2 supplements for about a month before I started to see results. I combined the supplements with a strict pumping schedule, giving baby a bottle of donor milk while I double pumped 3-6 times each day depending on our schedule. I received 1 complementary bottle for my honest review, but am happily continuing to buy more. Most importantly, stay positive and don't give up hope; stress will also reduce your supply! Start supplements, find a mommies breastfeeding group, and use formula or donor milk to bridge the gap while you work on building your supply little by little :)

Might Work?
Edit: I changed my 1 star to a 3 star. The reason is because I really don't know if this works or not. After a couple of months, I had to accept that breastfeeding and/or pumping want going to work out. I was never able to pump more than 6oz per day and I was never able to fully satisfy my baby by breastfeeding. What I can tell you about this product is that as soon as I stopped taking any supplements my pumped milk decreased by half the very next day. Now, pumped milk doesn't really reflect available breastmilk and I came to realize that my breasts didn't respond very well to a pump no matter how good the pump was or what shield size I used. The best I can ascertain from my experience is that it definitely helped me to maintain what little milk I was producing. However, I still recommend the more potent supplements out there. They worked just as well and I saw no change in my supply when taking them. It's much easier to eat a Boobie Bar or mix a packet into your water or drink Mothers Milk tea than it is to take all these pills.Original Post: I was given a free bottle for my review so here it is. I took an entire bottle of this along with goat's rue. I took three pills each three times per day. That's 18 pills each day. I saw no increase in my milk supply but I do smell funny, so there's that. There are other ways to take fenugreek that don't require taking tons of pills and contain more concentrated doses. The worst part of taking these pills was the strong urge to vomit each time I took them. They have an overwhelming taste of salmon that doesn't agree with my gag reflex. I received my bottle today and have no intention of opening it. My baby (6 weeks old) continues to be on formula as I continue to produce hardly any milk (approx 5oz per day). This product wasted my time and possibly deprived my baby of receiving more breastmilk. I still have hope that a better product may help.
