Globe Electric HZ-5525-WH Heathco Security Light, 120 Vac, Halogen, 250 W, White

Had one of these for 20 years. It worked great, but finally died. This one operates a little differently. The old one was instant on. POW!!! it was on. This one comes on slightly gradually, which is a little easier on the eyeballs and kind of neat.

The light installed easily and is located about 10 feet off the ground between the garage doors. I didn't even have to adjust default settings for sensitivity. It's bright and I've had no issues with it coming on during the day. I would definitely buy this again.

Works well,has a short neck,which makes it hard to adjust as needed.

Good quality product at a fair price. I have a similar light installed to light up my drive way when a vehicle enters. It has been working problem free for about 5 years so I expect similar experience with this one. It will cost more to operate than the newer led lights but I believe the reliability is a plus. Also the led lights cost more. Because I wanted it right away I tried Home Depot but they did not carry Health Zenith Brand. No one beats Amazon's delivery service and very few beat Amazon's prices. So one day later I have this light in hand. It was easy to install and works perfectly. I did replace the 250 watt bulb with a 150 watt bulb. The 250 watt was a little bright for me and my thinking is the lower watt bulb may result in longer service life for the product.

Purchased 4 of these a little over a year ago, and only one is currently working. Initially, they performed great. Unfortunately, over the course of the past 8 months or so, I've changed the bulbs multiple times in each due to prolonged use - once the motion sensor picks up movement the units stay on. I've tried resetting, rewiring and troubleshooting at the switch, but cannot seem to get them to function properly. Will be replacing with a different brand.

Great light for the price. However....the bulb burned out after being installed for MAYBE 3 weeks now. Super bummed about that and need to figure out what type of bulb to get. We did buy two of these at once and the other one is holding up fine - no bulbs burned out there. So it's definitely a good buy for the price, just consider that you may need to replace the bulb sooner than you thought.

awesome light. great design/proportions of bulb/fixture, nicely different from the usual twin lights that have become so prevalent.also, single bulb 250-watt is excellent, again, without needing to get the twin lights. tho i was looking to replace a 300w fixture, which apparently nobody makes anymore, it is close enough to do the job.and best part... it's halogen, not the ubiquitous LED.nice finish, neat appearance.
