I like that this locking mechanism is very slim. I have used it both on glass sliding doors to patio and also on closer doors to avoid toddlers getting into closets and creating messes. It is very strong and great value for the money. The adhesive strip on back is very strong. I recommend giving it a try for your needs. I bought 1 before and then came back to buy 4 pack.

These work great for keeping my littles from opening my pocket doors! They came as a set of 4 which was perfect for my 4 pocket doors. Unfortunately one had a broken lock tab so I’m down a door. I suggest you test them all before installing.

These are the most cost effective, and best locks for our sliding door closets. Keeps toddlers out, and haven’t peeled off like other more expensive alternatives.

This solved my problem better than I could have hoped for. My bunny is going to be so disappointed when he finds out that he can't break into the closet anymore.The adhesive is really, really strong. I had to reapply it once because I placed it too high, and it was a struggle to take off. Luckily the door is plastic and not painted so it wasn't damaged. But this was right after applying it, so I imagine it will be even tougher to take down in the future. Not sure how I feel about that, to be honest.

I have a second floor condo with a slider than opens to a small covered patio. One side has a door to an outside storage closet but the other side is just a screen attached to the wooden and steel support/divider bars. If someone wanted to break in, the steel bar is only about 4 feet high, so one could easily cut the screen and climb over.Although my neighborhood doesn't see a lot of crime (that I am aware of) after the insane COVID experience and Greed becoming the buzzword for 2022, I don't mind taking a few extra precautions for safety's sake.The cool nights only last for a short time in Florida and I love to open the windows at night -it can keep my condo cool for the entire next day, no A/C needed, but I didn't open the slider, until now! What a difference.I placed one of the neat little gadgets with the door closed, then 2, one on top 1 on bottom, with the slider open about 8 inches. That's enough to let fresh air in, but not nearly wide enough for even a small person to fit thru.I placed them as soon as they arrived, then about 24 hrs later I opened them to test the strength. I noticed 2 things- one, they held fine, but two, the "clomp" sound when the door hit the locks, made enough noise that it would immediately wake me up, ready to reach for Reddy Beddy (my baseball bat.)So after all that, I am super pleased with this purchase.

These are super easy to open and flimsy. I would definitely try something else

I love these things! I have 4 rescue cats and they've been going into my wall to wall closets for as long as I can remember. Nothing has kept them out and all my clothes have cat fur on them. I gave these a try and they stick great (3M) and they actually keep the cats out. I had one cat try her best and even went to the other side and she could not budge those doors!!! I would highly recommend these to keep your fur babies out of your sliding closet doors.

5 estrellas porque se ve de buena calidad y muy resistente, yo lo ocupe para un closet de puertas corredizas que mi gatito abría y destruía lo de adentro. Vienen 4 piezas aunque de momento solo he utilizado una en 2 meses no se ha roto o despegado.

Ignore the bad reviews, these are amazing, nice and discreet, they don’t have complicated installation and with a strong and determined toddler they’ve withstood the damage

It may not be the most conventional use as they are technically child-proof locks, but I discovered that these sliding door locks serve as a great alternative to installing a lock on my bedroom door. I bought a pack of four, and they were remarkably easy to assemble with the adhesive strips. If you're accustomed to using adhesive strips, installing these locks will be a breeze. Just make sure that the gap between the door and the door frame is at least 7mm wide to ensure smooth sliding and proper functionality. Thus far, they have been holding up well for me.
