Mother-in-law gives defective gift as Christmas present!!!!
I bought these in size Large for my son-in-law for Xmas. He got them out a couple weeks ago to start wearing them, washed them once, and the elastic came out of the waist bands. The waist is now way too big on him, they won't even stay up. The underwear looks like it went from size L to size XXL in a matter of about an hour. I could hardly believe it, but I've read a few other reviews and they said basically the same thing. Sounds like some kind of elastic problem to me!!!

Good Product
I just moved to my college campus from Ohio to Texas, and unfortunately, I didn't bring enough change of underwear. This product gives you plenty for a decent price. The Hanes logo looks nice when it is in your drawer, and it is quite comfortable as well. The hole thing is covered maybe a little too much and it's kind of hard to use. Nevertheless, I still think the product is worth 5 stars. Keep in mind that you should wash this product before using it for the first time, and that it may shrink a bit afterwards.

Too thin
Material too thin-I expected to have underwear with holes in a very short time. Just like other manufacturers, Hanes had skimped for the sake of profit.

Disappointing quality
Quality is disappointing, primarily because the elastic stretches out much sooner than I believe is acceptable.

ONE STAR IS 3 TOO MANY
ONE STAR IS UNDESERVEDLY GENEROUS. NEGATIVE STARS WOULD BE MORE LIKE IT. THESE ARE THE WORST FITTING SHORTS I HAVE EVER WORN. THERE IS NEXT TO NO SUPPORT, THE LEG HOLES HAVE NO ELASTIC AND YOU ARE LEFT HANGING, LITERALLY!! I HAVE ORDERED A DIFFERENT BRAND TODAY. THESE WORKED FINE UNTIL THEY WERE WASHED. THEN ALL BETS WERE OFF. I FAILED TO RETURN THEM IN TIME AS I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THEM WORK. NOTHING WILL MAKE THEM WORK. HANES HAS SEEN THE LAST OF ME!!

for men who want a quality brief in a color other than white.
Hanes Men's Classics 7 Pack Full-Cut Brief I prefer Hanes briefs, I have come to trust that they are a quality product that fits true to size, and the colors are a personal choice if you get bored with plain, vanilla white. The downside of colors is you can't use liquid chlorine bleach. I recommend these for men who want a quality brief in a color other than white. Gunner May, 2013

Better Than White
The husband approved. This was his first excursion into something other than "whitey tighties." He reports that they are more comfortable than what he's used to. Two thumbs up.

Why won't they sell in individual colors and certainly not white?
All I want is one single color, have to go buy John Blair as they are the only ones who sell in a single color (packs of 3). Well Jockey does too, but at a terrible price.
