Turnstone Cables CAT5E Plenum CMP 24AWG UTP, 100% Bare Copper, 1000FT - Tangle-Free Easy Pull Box (White)

Very good cable and a good price. The only con is that this is on a spool. The spool frequently falls off the supports inside the box, making it difficult to impossible to pull, without going back to put the spool back on the supports. It becomes really annoying and time-consuming, when you're pulling through conduit between buildings.

The cable was excellent for pulling cable. It did not tangle or kink, and that is very important. We pulled over 9 cables for POE cameras up to 200 feet without any issues. the only think I noticed is that if you kick an individual strand it will break, so be careful.

One of the pairs (white/brown) was open (breaks) in the first 100 feet on the spool.The rest of the cable that was used was okay. Poor quality control. I would not buythis brand again.

Cable does not flow out of the box smoothly. Instead of being able to drop a box and run cable I have to have an extra guy stand at the box to ensure it does not get stuck and kinked. Would not recommend buying again unless this is fixed.

Made 2 150-foot runs through insulated drop ceiling only to learn that green pair had a dead short in it. I buy other cable from Amazon and have never had this problem. I have kept the samples if the vendor is interested but this is the internet. We did not mishandle cable or pull too hard on it. Upon inspection of the green pair we noticed a repetitive pinch as if their machinery had crunched on it. We have bought this wire from other vendors before and did not have a problem. I believe this to be a quality control issue.

I bought 7 boxes of this and at 50 degrees outside the outer coating shattered and exposed wire every time it got stuck in the box ... customer not happy I'm not happy this is a JUNK product ....Don't walk away RUN ... Never had such a bad experience with CAT 5

This was good wire, it pulled well, terminated easily etc. supporting gig and POE for an office. On a few pulls it did kink or get stuck in the box a bit but not bad.

I've been using this cable for a over a year and the quality is always good. The outer covering is thick and does not tear easily. The boxes used to tear up easily but recently that has not happened.

This is a solid option for plenum-rated 100% copper Cat5e, as long as your job spec does not require use of a UL/ETL-Listed product. The wire has pulled cleanly so far without any kinks or snags. The EZ-Pull box means that there's no spool inside to get stuck or dislodged - the wire is arranged in the box with a tangle-free pattern that works well. The outer jacket is clearly marked by the foot for easy measurement.The cable arrived with RJ45 connectors already attached at both ends, but the wire strands were inconsistently and randomly placed instead of following any standard. After I replaced the connectors with my own properly-wired ones, my cable tester was able to verify that the spool was good, without any broken or shorted wires.Overall, I have no complaints about this CMP-rated Cat5e. If your work spec or location requires a UL/ETL-Listed wire, you'll need to use a different (and likely more expensive) product, but otherwise this is a fine choice.

I purchased 4 of these boxes, every box kinks and twists for about the first 100' - 150'. All boxes were suppose to be white cables, however when they arrived, one was blue. Other than that, it is decent cable for the price.
