Gymnema works by blocking the taste receptors that response to the presence of simple sugars. I use the product with BERBERINE PLUS WITH CEYLON CINNAMON the two together has kept my blood sugar levels good. I recommend the two products to my son who the Dr. says he had prediabetic symptoms. After taking the two he has no traces of Diabetes. Make sure you use Jiva Gymnema Sylvestre, and the Nutrifair BERBERINE Plus with Ceylon CINNAMON together. I am well pleased with the results.

It takes about 3 weeks to kick in but it absolutely works. There are two aspects of sugar addiction--cravings and habit. This product helps with the cravings. Your body will finally let go of wanting sugar. Then it will be up to you to work on the habit of sugary products. I'm very glad I purchased this product. Curving the habit has been much easier now!

It does notblook like this product has any affect on blood sugar. Usually when I take gymnema sylvestre, it even blocks the taste of sugar and my blood sugar meter definetly shows lower blood sugar levels. This product doesn t block the sugar taste and has absolutely no effect on my blood sugar level. I wish I could return it but I bought it in December and just start using it in February ( too late ) Looks like I have waisted my money.
