Good buy/bye bad smells.
When you have 5 pets it is worth investing in these odor absorbers. They do not have a fragrance and have a noticeable smell remover. Sometimes they will last up to 3 months. Worth every penny.

Eliminates Dead mouse smell
I rarely get a mouse trapped IN the wall but when I do, eeek. In the past I tried coffee grounds, tried boxes of baking soda, tried dryer sheets and other home remedies. Bad Air Sponge truly gets rid of the odor. There are other brand that have their own unpleasant odor but Bad Air Sponge is not unpleasant. Gave a couple to my sister for an unused guest house and they really like it. Helped with smoke in my daughter’s home, and I have 3 waiting for the next mice. (They climb up my stucco walls into the attic and fall into a wall gap)

Clears the air instead of scenting it. Buy one for every room!
Bottom line: You're going to want a 3.5"x3/5" container in every room in your house. The appropriately commercial containers don't fit into decorative creamers or sugar bowls. No problem in the kitchen, the bath or the den, but I wanted my living room and my guest bedroom to look more formal. That means hiding the outside of the container without covering the top, which you leave open. Update!! Some containers have pleasant prints under the peel off labeling! I got one with lavender, and someone else got grass blades. Hooray for the packaging improvement.Despite the fact that I subscribe to an excellent cleaning service, I kept finding, when I came home, there was a musty smell in my house. I got intense. I cleaned things again. I checked everything I could find all over the house and could not find the source of the odor. (I have allergies. Things like this matter to me.) I decided to give the Bad Air Sponge a try. It works. Not only that, it works exceedingly well! The one in the attached photo has been in place for about five weeks. I expect to need to replace it in another five weeks (just guessing), and I plan to do that. I will recycle the plastic containers. The sponge does have a faint odor, but I can only smell it when I'm checking the sponge shrinkage, and at that point, it's within a foot of my nose. That doesn't even qualify as a down side for me.Downside: I'm now looking around for something appropriately decorative to put the containers in for the rooms I want to have a formal look. Not much of a down side, right?

Better than an air filter
With all of the ash in the air in L.A. I immediately ordered more of these terrific air purifying sponges. I believe I read they were designed for the aftermath of fires and they work wonderfully well. I always have one in the closets to keep everything from getting musty but I love having them in living spaces too to keep the air healthy and odors gone.

Not as strong as it used to be.
I’ve been using this product for years, but this shipment was disappointing. Sponges do not work as they used to, smells linger despite using two of them in the room. Sponges also dry up faster than before.
