This little cloth mitt is a true wonder!! Also a great tool for before self tanning exfoliation...
This little cloth mitt is amazing. I am big on exfoliating...do it a few times a week, especially before self tanning. I have all kinds of loofahs, exfoliating gloves, body scrubs, Etc., and nothing comes close to this little gem in effectiveness. Directions are super simple...soak in a bath for at least 15 min without any soaps, gels, bubbles or oils, then use the mitt, starting with the arms and legs, in long, even, (not too rough) strokes on the body, the dead skin literally rolls off, it's so crazy! My skin was super soft too, and I noticed that my self tan took and faded more evenly too, due to the fact that my skin was properly exfoliated. But I can def see myself using this all the time in winter too, to keep my skin soft as well. The mitt comes detailed directions for use, but also with a smaller face version as welol (as a gift) and what a cool gift. I've used it only twice, but I've seen a difference already in my skins smoothness. It Definitely Exfoliates.
I never knew that silk can be so rough and durable till I tried these mitts (hey, I'm a guy and I'm still learning about personal hygiene)! I exfoliate every few days and afterwards my skin feels like a baby's bottom. The packaging upon delivery was actually very nice and seemed environmentally friendly as similar items would usually be in plastic wrapping or folded card stock. It's a nice touch (no pun intended). Although this is more of a personal preference, the larger mitt has an extended strap which I use to tie and hang on the shower caddy, however, I kind of wish it had a loop like the smaller face mitt to hang on a hook. These mitts get the job done in cleaning out dead skin and opens up your pores and is totally worth it.

Loving my Joyaplenty mitts!
Really love these. This was one of those splurges.. so glad I bought this set! I seriously can't believe the amount of old skin this removes! Pretty shocking, really. Know that you will get a workout because you do need to rub rather hard - it is worth it. I have been using the body mitt about once a week at the end of a shower - no need to soak in the tub unless you want to. The little silk mitt for face really works well for both my neck and face although I have used the body mitt on those areas also with great results. There are many companies selling similar mitts but I decided to give my business here as they donate part of their proceeds to charities here in the USA. Improved skin! :)
Improving my skin with each use! I have keratosis Polaris which is a skin condition that causes small bumps - sometimes red - on the back of my arms and legs. Its not very severe but over the years it has left scars. Anyway, I got this simply because I was tired of buying exfoliating body wash which is expensive - especially if it's all natural - and then washing it down the drain. This seemed like an awesome frugal alternative. Its that and more! It has reduced the look of the scars from my skin condition and reduced the bumps that appear and I've only used it twice :) this will be my go to gift as I'm sure everyone would love it!!

I am horribly ticklish and I have sensitive skin. The first time I tried a pedicure, I almost kicked the pedicurist in the face (accidently, of course). Then, my husband bought me a massage for my birthday, and I squirmed through the entire supposed-to-be-relaxing session. I swore off spa treatments after that. Great quality, natural fibers, and a nice gift!
I like this exfoliating mitt better than the alternative cheap gloves. For one thing, this mitt covers way more area than exfoliating gloves do, so it’s faster. The quality seems to be good enough to last a long time. I have never gotten dead skin rolls from exfoliating with gloves this mitt makes. Plus, the mitt is made from natural fibers, unlike most exfoliating gloves I’ve seen. The attached cord is long enough to tie around my wrist so it stays in place just like a glove does. And since most women don’t know about these mitts, I figure I’ve found a nice gift that they won’t already have.
