The ultimate boys toy - absolutely amazing machine
The media could not be loaded. Firstly it's worth starting off by saying this is my first foray into 3D printing and my expectations were really high, i have been so excited about getting one of these and I had built it up so much in my head that I felt it wasn't going to meet my expectations. That or it was going to be ridiculously complicated and I would give up. Well that wasn't the case. The Anet ET4 printer is brilliant. From the second you take it out of the box, it looks impressive, it's a much more substantial device than I expected and albeit complicated looking, it was relatively easy to put together, the instructions were straight forward and within 10-15 minutes I had it all put together and ready to go.I have to admit figuring out the self levelling and manual levelling did take a couple of youtube videos as the instructions didn't explain in detail the process, but it relatively simple once you wrap your head around it.Then the glorious bit... I loaded up the filament and selected my print (I opted for a rabbit) not realising the size of the rabbit or the print time, the machine started doing it's thing and watching it create the raft for the base was amazing, then watching it do the layers of the rabbit just blew my mind. It really is amazing what we can achieve nowadays.I had great fun sifting through template websites picking my next print and then realise that the 10m roll of filament that was included wasn't going to go very far. I realise my bunny was not going to be complete and while I did toil with waiting for my filament order to arrive and finishing it off, the desire to hold this print was too great and I turned the printer off and let it cool down until my half rabbit could be lifted off the print bed.I can't sing this devices praises enough at under £200 you get the ability to create almost anything you want, it really is amazing some of the things you can create. I love it and can't wait to get on with the printing.

1 star is to much.Amazon... useless
so ordered this anet et4.. as the anet seem to get good feedback , so thought instead of going for another anycubic or creality i will buy a anet et4...........DONT BOTHER. the seller HAIKULIFE-UK apparently has no contact info for amazon to contact them in regards to my problem...... the printer looks fantastic fit in well with my other 8 printers... if it worked . i believe its just a x-axis switch that needs replacing but i cant test it as the anet os limits what i can and cant do so their for changing switch seems logical but amazon are saying send the whole printer back and have a refund..... what a stupid comment so i emailed Anet and see what they can do . Amazon massive online shop and their customer support is about as useful as a chocloate fire guard

Simple setup and great finished products
The media could not be loaded. So I'm quite a novice when it comes to 3d printing, so was a little nervous when ordering this as my first try, I shouldn't have worried as straight out the box it's quite straight forward, it comes in a few pieces that need assembling but these are quite well explained in the instructions and go together easily (the tools for doing so are even included) once together it's a very straight forward process to get started on a print, you'll need to load up your model onto a micro sd card, these models can wither be drawn up or you can download some from the Internet (this was the case with my little flexi rex dinosaur I printed first) software is included in a micro sd card in the box so no need to buy one. The printing itself can be quite fine with small adjustments and a bit of patience to tweak it to the exact specifications you need. All in its a simple single feed 3d printer that really worked for me as a novice, if I was to give one warning it would be to take care of the level sensor and make sure it doesn't get burnt / melted by heating up the nozzle whilst it's still on... Other than that it's pretty much foolproof.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, in almost daily use with almost no failures
It took very little time to assemble the Anet ET4, all that remained was levelling the bed, putting in some filament, putting an SD card with a model on and away it went.Bed adhesion is good straight onto the glass for PLA(210 & 60), PETG(215 & 70) is good on blue masking tape. TPU was not a success for me, it stuck well, maybe even too well but I think it may need more adjustments to work properly, I don't use ABS so I can't say how well that would work.I think that being a Bowden setup may preclude some flexible filaments.Overall I am very pleased with the Anet ET4, it is in almost daily use with almost no failures and very well finished results.

Awful
Could not get any kind of print that didn't turn into a complete mess despite spending hours and hours checking and following guides to properly set everything up. The auto-level was never accurate and if you home in on the Z axis with the touch screen it won't try to stop itself when it reaches the top despite activating the switch. I gave up when I realised all the rollers where deformed and wedging against the frame and the nozzle was leaking filament from around it. Not worth the hassle trying to fix something already broken and very glitchy so sending it back.

Good machine but not suitable for beginners
Easy assembly but tricky to set up for high quality prints. I had issues with nozzles blocking, and the extruder motor slipping.High quality machine but not suitable for beginners
