GOOD CONCEPT, NO REAL SOUND, TOO BAD THE YAMAHA WOOD JAM BLOCK IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE...

Installed as instructed very small and could barely read, and did nothing to my cross stick, useless!

The maple version cost a little more but has a fatter sound. I own a yamaha Russ Miller Groove Wedge that is absolutely awesome. But it's no longer made.

Easy installation, awesome effect added with almost no physical alteration. Good addition to the kit

I play with RimRiser for many years, once I need the GREAT rim sound when I play bossa nova, samba...all genre of music. RimRiser is perfect when you need the BIG rim sound. Easy to fix...great to play. Definitely, I recommend...

I fitted this product to 12” snare. Not a good fit. Sound no better than the original rim sound which is why I bought it.
