I actually paid full price for this on my own dime, and without any promotional ANYTHING:My review is ACTUALLY UNBIASED.I'll preface this with the fact that we have like NO water pressure in our condo.I'm glad I'm just a renter, because I couldn't deal with that for any substantial time passing.I bought the extender arm at Home Depot, same one they have on Amazon, same price too.I was hoping to find a piece of stainless or chromed pipe that had threaded male AND female ends.Harder than you'd think. (Then again, Home Depot these days has reverted back to ignorant employees whohave no business in customer service, that's for sure.) I've installed these before as well, so I know what I need to buy.I've configured them with shaped pipe, etc before and they always work out.This one has smaller surface area than I really need, but it is still a far larger area than my standardshower head. I WAS going for cheap though, and this one is certainly cheap. I can see that it mightget clogged up pretty easily, but at this price point, these are disposable.Seemed like a nice even rain shower, and the thinness of the head is really nice and classy.After I installed it, and took out the filtering screen and the pipe reducing washer, along with the extra length thewater needed to travel horizontally I basically ended up with a dribble. Only half of the head was actually "spraying" out water, theother holes were just leaking basically.I would recommend this for what it is, and I probably could have justified 5 stars based on the price, if I'd been able to use it for more thana week. Sadly, I recycled it and had to reattach the old shower head, it was taking me 2-3 times as long to get my shower, and that would have been fantastic if I was getting pelted by "raindrops." But it was just kind of falling out of the head, LOL.Give it a whirl, it's certainly worth the money. Buy the extender at the same time, OH, and it comes with a baby roll of teflon style tape, that was a nice bonus! Then you don't have search the garage, and you can install it in 3 minutes and have it done with.You can find lots of PVC and ultimately metal pipe that will work with you if you need it, but it's easier to just get the adjustable arm that is so popular.

I really don't understand how this shower head received the negative reviews it got. It honestly can't be beat at this price point. Yeah....it's cheaply made. But for under $10 what do you expect? It isn't actual solid stainless. Seems to be chrome plate over brass or some alloy.I don't have any leaks. Make sure you put the strainer gasket on the end and use teflon tape on the threads.This is definitely not a water conserving shower head. It is absolutely amazing. It's like taking a shower in a hot waterfall. So much water! I love it. I take fast showers though. If you have a shower hog or have multiple people who are taking showers one right after another in the morning, I'd personally avoid this shower head. Nothing worse than a cold shower on a winter morning!It does what it is supposed to do. I'd definitely buy this again. Time will tell how long it will last. I just hope it doesn't plug too quickly with my well water as hard as it is.

First, I did NOT receive this product at a discount or free, so this is an actual unbiased review. My shower head broke and we decided we wanted a rain-style one to replace it. We ordered this one, thinking it would work decent for our situation. Upon inspecting the piece, it appears to be well-made, although the edges of the spray plate were a tiny bit rough. It doesn't leak, and works as advertised. The threaded swivel is of decent quality, and has a rubber 0-gasket to seal it, but I'd recommend some teflon tape just the same (Mine didn't come with any, but I have a whole peg full of rolls of it). All in all, it's a basic, decent shower head. It was certainly better than what was described on some of the other reviews not related to a free or discounted item. I'd recommend.

This shower head is really fantastic. I live in an apartment building with horrible water pressure and I wanted something that would improve the pressure, while also expanding the surface area of the spray. In some ways those two desires are at odds with each other (lol) so I debated and researched a long time before buying something. Although this wasn't advertised as a high pressure head, a lot of the reviews commented that it approved their pressure - they were so right!! My shower feels really luxurious now and the product is very high quality. Nice mirror like chrome finish with silicone nozzles so calcium build up doesn't clog the head. I would never guess this was only 20 bucks just looking at it. Wouldn't change a thing.

We got this for my daughter's shower. It was a great price and she had been wanting the "rain" shower style. She really likes it. I happened to use her shower when I stayed with her and ended up really liking it, too. The water falls like rain and has a silky, soft feel even with hard water. It was easy to install (at least that's what my husband said). I do wish it was more maneuverable. It only bends a little. You basically have to stand right under it. Doesn't leak. I've seen some that cost way more. This was a perfect price and does a great job.

****UPDATE**** DO NOT BUY - after 3+ years, the swivel ball has rusted out and was leaking like a sieve. Sadly, this was in our Airbnb rental and I had to find out from a customer who said the bathroom was flooded after her shower.Not well designed, or constructed. The coupling that connects the head to the riser is round, and the chrome on it is extremely thin. To install the head, you have to wrap the coupling with tape, tape up your channel locks, and start to tighten. When I removed the tape, the chrome came off with it. The washer/screen that came with the unit, completely collapsed inside of the main head chamber when it was tightened down. I had to use a hard rubber washer, and remove the screen in order to seal the coupling so that it would not leak. After so many installations, the coupling is brass now.The product looks great, I'd buy more of them if they were built properly.
