The Little Guide to Leaves Hardcover – April 17, 2018

This is a very little book, however, the book is filled with lots of information my kids will love and I love. Has the leaf illustrationed on one side, then on the other page written family name, characteristics, habitat, then a few sentences of information on that plant. Not too overwhelming for kids or adults.

This book makes a lovely gift for nature walkers and leaf peepers. It features the artwork of Tom Frost, printmaker and illustrator. Each full page illustration faces one page with interesting literary or historical points, including the family name, characteristics , habitat, distribution and flowers and fruit of the tree.

The only thing that disappoints me with this book is the fact that the book itself is quite small. Besides that it looks wonderful.

Amazing book

This sweet little volume informs just a bit but delights a lot, with the charming illustrations. I’m going to keep my copy, but buy another as a gift.
