Cuski the Original Baby Comforter, Blue-ee

I got this when I was leaving the country for a work trip and my son was only 6 months so I wanted a 'lovie' for him. They said if you wore this in your shirt it would get your scent and help the child. ehhhh, didn't really work for us. My son didn't care for it and it was expensive for what it is. This was an impulse buy for a first time mom feeling guilty about having to travel without her infant.

I have to admit I originally bought a Cuski for our daughter because they looked cool and came in pretty colors. Little did I know it would become her bedtime playmate and "friend" of sorts. The great thing is it's made out of a terry/towel material and you can machine wash and dry it. She loves biting on the corners so it's Definetely a great teething product that I feel safe leaving in her crib. It is the only thing we allow her to have in her crib. She is currently 10 months old and has been loving the Cuski since 7 months. We bought this blue one for a friends baby who is 5 months, he will be ready to play with it soon. We ended up buying another one for our daughter to keep in the car. We are a Cuski loving family!

I slept with this while pregnant and ever since my son was born has slept with it every night. We have a back up one because at this point he cannot sleep without it. Something about it comforts him to sleep immediately after I soothe him and lay him down.

At 6, it is one of my child favorites. It is soft, beautiful and being as simple as it is great for creative playing. It is anything my little one wants it to be.

Our daughter has had a Cuski since she was born and it has become her most cherished security/comfort item. Although she has many other stuffed animals and toys, this is the one toy that she needs when she goes to sleep or goes somewhere unfamiliar. She has been in daycare since she was very young and this little doll comforts her there as well. The great thing about this toy is that it has no absorbent stuffing, so it is easy to keep clean. She chews and sucks on the ends so we are constantly washing it, but its relatively small size makes it very easy to wash and dry. I am very glad that she took to this toy as her comfort toy rather than a cumbersome stuffed animal that would be hard to keep clean. We keep 4 or 5 of these on the go. Two permanently at the daycare and the rest at home so that there are always clean back-ups ready to go. It is a bit pricey for what seems like a very simple concept, but for the comfort and peace that it brings for our daughter, we are very glad we bought this product.

It's cute, but my son was never really into it -- when I'd lay it next to him and he'd roll over he'd get upset that the head, which is a hard ball, was difficult for him to get out from under him and was uncomfortable to be on top of. That being said, any odd shaped toy you give a kid will have the same outcome. He just never cared for it... I could have saved my money and continued to let him chew on his blanket.

I sometimes watch my cousins little and she loves that this smells like her mom. It makes her drop off transitions much easier.

This lovie holds the scent perfectly and made of durable and good quality material. I bought the snoedel and it faded and shrunk after first wash before use so it was a waste...This one is great and my baby loves to hold it to sleep, mothers looking for a comforter that can hold mom's scent this is your product
