Great starter or intermediate printer
The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty good printer for someone who wants to get into 3D printing or has some experience. However, this is not something you can just take out of the box, put together, and start printing if you have no experience as it does take some initial calibration steps to get it working well. This is my 4th personal printer and I've also been 3D printing for 8 working in labs, so while I do think someone new to 3D printing could use this printer, it would take some initial learning.I've really been impressed with the Creality brand of printers, they come with the important parts assembled in the box (belts, bed, hot end, etc.) and all the user has to do is pretty much bolt the axis together. I got this Ender 5 because of it's design, the Ender 3 is a good printer too but the box design of the Ender 5 definitely gives it more rigidity for nicer prints at higher speeds. I did have to print some bed supports and wire supports to give the printer overall some more longevity, but I think that's part of the experience of having an Ender, they're a really good value and you get to design or download upgrades and customizations. The biggest upgrade I recommend is the build plate, you really need a spring steel and PEI build plate in my opinion. The first print I did on this was the little puppy that was preloaded on the included SD card. The very first print failed about at 85% done by coming off the build plate so I had to do some minor bed leveling as well as raise the bed temp and the next print came out really well and I was impressed.I do find the Creality slicer to be a bit dated, but it's fast and its lightweight so if you have a really simple part and don't care too much about the slicing, it's perfect for that. The next best option for a free slicer is the PrusaSlicer, it comes with an optimized Ender5 profile and there's tons of different options and features if you want to get into the more nitty gritty stuff.Overall, it's been a good printer so far after 50 or so hours of printing and I plan for it to be my main printer, at least until I get something newer. I do have a Creality CR-30 print mill on the way so with this printer and that one, I should be able to make just about anything I please.Pros:- good value- rigid boxy frame- easy to use- consistent prints- reliable to run overnight- major parts pre-assembled- massive fan base / community for endersCons:- the included flexible build plate- fans are slightly noisy while running- bed needs more support (supports are easy to print)- could use a cable management trac or something included

Great for the money and first time users
First time 3D printer here. I LOVE creality brand. I already have my eyes set on getting another creality. The ONLY thing I would complain about is the directions. I honestly found more help with YouTube. It would also be great if the directions explained what each option or setting did that made it more user friendly.*UPDATE*I’ve had it about a month and I have only been able to print 4 things (all under 100mm wide and 150mm tall). The first three printed without any issues perfectly...the fourth it took three tries because it kept breaking loose but the glass looks perfectly fine and still brand new. Now after about 1-1 1/2 hours of printing it will break off of the glass and move while printing and screw up the entire print and I have to completely shut it off. I’ve now tried 3 prints 5 times each and each one it might go a bit further..I’ve tried raising the nozzle, increasing the bed heat and none of this helped. Literally how I got the last one to print I had to sit there on my phone and any time it popped up I held it down on the glass while it was printing to make it stick again. As I said above this print when I first used was amazing and worked perfectly but now it’s struggling and the prints after an hour break loose and start going everywhere. The directions are HORRIBLE and say nothing about issues or errors. Only barely tells you how to put it together and that’s pretty much it. I would have assumed a big name like creality would have at least had detailed directions on how to do everything for it.

Great starter 3D Printer
I've had my Ender 3v2 for about 2 weeks now. It's been pretty much printing non-stop since I got it. Setup is pretty easy, though I recommend following some tutorials online as the included instructions from Creality are not the greatest and having someone walk through it with you on the video really helps you understand how things should feel when you are assembling. My first print was the dog and then the cat. I used some old filament a friend had given me. It produced ok results. Once I started using the newer filament I purchased at the same time as the printer my prints improved. The only real issue I can into is that one of the grub screws that attached the metal gear to the extruder motor was over tightened and was stripped. I couldn't remove the gear to swap out for an all metal extruder (which I recommend getting). I ended up having to use a hacksaw to cut off the gear, I tried to drill it out but didn't have anything small enough to get into it.Upgrades I'd recommend almost immediately:- all metal extruder- capricon bowden tube- improved bed springs (or silicon plugs)- upgrade the firmware to JyersSomething to think about down the line: CR Touch or BL TouchI've added some pictures of a few of my already many prints.Deadpool & the glow in the dark "baby yoda" were some of my earlier prints.Bowser had some support structure failures so the upper jaw wasn't great but the shell and hands printed really well.Donkey Kong printed REALLY well, I love the fact the fur texture looks so good. The vase is my most recent print (as of 7/30/2021) and my wife REALLY likes it. I think I'll need to print it again but a little bigger and a few more bottom layers to give it some weight, but it really came out well.
