Asoka PlugLink Ethernet Adapter

We suffer from weak wifi signals in some of the upstairs bedrooms. With WFH, it is becoming an urgent matter. The choice was to work in the living room or set up proper connection. We did a lot of research and accidentally found this wonderful little device. It works like magic. You need two of them. One plug near the main modem with connection and the other in the room with weak signals. We were unable to plug both in the same circuit as commented by some others. It is impossible to do so with more than 20 circuits in the house. Regardless, the setup still works beautifully. No more problem with poor signals. It is so easy and straightforward. I am not a tech person but am very very happy to have this done in no time! I highly recommend the product.

My earlier review was one star: "Be wary of buying this product. I had trouble making it work, cannot contact Asoka and believe they are out of business." That's still true, but I now give it 3 stars as it does work well after I read other reviews, experimented with removing other items on the same circuit and relocated the power supply for my speakers to a surge protector. I would give it 4 stars if there were more instructions for dealing with installation issues and/or tech support backup.

I got the first one for free because I found it in a box in the garage. Bought this second one and they both work flawlessly. It’s 2020 and these devices have to over 5 years old. I’m surprised they still work and can be bought separately. Two are needed to set up a power line though.

Love these things, plug into any outlet in your home and presto, network connectivity to your home router. They are faster than wireless and more secure, the signal only goes as far as your pole transformer. Note it takes two of them to get started, one at your router and one at your computer or television. I use five of them in my home no issue. They don't work through a power strip so be forewarned. You can also download a little program from the manufacturer to monitor the devices in your home.

Im no tech expert so I'll tell you in plain languagge. This is a 2 part system. You plug the sender into your modem and the electrical outlet. Then this part is pluged in any electric outlet in the house where you want your computer or your televion to receive internet conection. It is a wired not wireless connection. I have 4 of these around the house and they work really well. Too bad most people dont even know they exist. ( i dont mean you young people, you know tons about tech, its us old f!#ts that need help.;)

We had spotty wireless internet reception in our house and my son's room was the worst. Purchased this pluglink ethernet adapter that plugs into an electrical receptacle and it turns the house electrical wiring into essentially a hard wired conduit to the adapter. Now my son plugs into this adapter and his internet connection is the best in the house. Fantastic. The price was very low compared to other similar devices, it was shipped fast, well packaged, and best of all, works great. Deserves 6 stars not 5.

My card went out in my tv bought two put one in the bedroom tv where the card for internet went out would not find signal . Then pluged the other to internet box and plookug to wall in there it pucks it up as quick as a wink

easy to use, plug into wall, plug cable in, and plug other end into whatever. works great over electrical system to provide awsome connectivity to router/modem for internet connectionwould buy again
