If a light touch is all you need, this will work.
But if you want a firmer hold to keep the bulging area in check either avoid this belt and opt for specific side belt or buy this one in a full size smaller. The biggest problem is that the Velcro® straps are too long to pull the truss tight against your groin and I'm really not even sure that a smaller size would change that.

Least Bad of a Growing Pile of Trusses
Of the three inguinal hernia trusses I’ve wasted money on so far, this is the least bad.They at least understand that a groin hernia occurs below the belt line.They have a vague sense—nobody else does so far—that the between-the-legs part is where you need something like a ratchet that will help keep your hernia from popping out.It is still not comfortable, but so far it requires less extreme stretching of the straps than the others.You will still need to use both straps to have any hope of getting a fix on one hernial outbreak. And you will still have to use them in not-according-to-the-instructions ways to get decent leverage.But at least it can be done.Avoid—avoid, avoid—Flexamed and Toros.

Hernia support
I bought this for my husband. Who has a hernia. Since he started wearing the support he doesn’t complain about pain. He mentioned that, everything stays in place all day without adjusting.

Very easy to use
I wanted to order the higher end brand but this one shipped next day instead of a week later so I ordered it. It worked very well and was simple to put on and remove. It kept the hernia in place so I could continue normal activity until the operation. Then I used both nodes post double hernia surgery to help when I had no choice but to be active. Highly recommend it. I am very slim 30” so the small worked for me.

Do not use this as an excuse to not go to the surgeon to get you problem fixed.
Buy it before you go into surgery, the inability to do things like bend, sit, or cough after lower abdomen surgery could "Rip you a new one" if you don't.Do: buy as soon as you notice the hernia.Do: go to the surgeon and physician or doctor.Do NOT: pretend you do not have a problem.

It definitely has improved my situation!
The belt has made a real difference for me. I had a fair amount of pain before using the belt. This has made a big improvement for me as I await surgery a month in the future.
