The flippy-switchy thing does it's thing just fine and I haven't broken the geary-spinny thing yet. The stabby-pointy bit aligns holes well, and the coating disallows sticking. My one complaint is that the metal of the spike is a little soft so it gets dings and dents pretty easily. I have moved and alligned large truss structures with this and used it lift 200lb steel plates.
