Good USB charger
The charger is USB connected. No need to worry with another clunky AC adapter. Very small and compact. I received it this afternoon and plugged it in with one controller. The charged started right away. If something with the product goes wrong, I will update this review. Also, controller fit perfect. The connector that goes into the port sits high and if it was forced or the controller slammed in the stand I could see you damaging the connector or controller port.

Don't waste your money!
I've had this for 2 months now and it's now useless. When I first got it, I had an immediate issue. The micro usb that connects to the base was very loose. No matter what I did, it would not make a connection. It was just by coincidence that I got it to work. I had to sharply bend the wire at the base where it connects. So I chose not to return it since it was only $ 14.95. Now, no matter what I do, it doesn't work. Amazon won't return it or even exchange it! $15 isn't a big deal. But even the local Walmart would take it back. So don't waste your money with this.
