I bought this for using in Spin sessions, and granted I have only used it once before coming out with a 5-star review. But I had found that Spinning on an uncovered-cycle seat was an unduly painful proposition, and it brought the whole activity of spinning into serious question. I attempted to sort out issues by purchasing this seat-cushion - reassured by the Seller that the silicon-gel spots would retain stickiness despite being taken on and off (keep the plastic cover the seat-cushion comes with, and replace it over gel-spots between use, to keep clean and sticky); and another customer who reported that they satisfactorily used theirs for spin classes. I found that this seat-cushion really did help me to sort out issues. It was unbelievable to me how a cycle seat which I had found to be so obstreperously uncomfortable - painful even - was suddenly rendered neutral, even comfortable, with the addition of a seat cover. It was really a pleasure. Of course, I have never tried another seat-cushion, and it may be that there are cheaper and just as effective - or better - alternatives. But my initial concern was to avoid purchasing something that was not designed well, and that would not alleviate the problem of the uncomfortable cycle seat; and my experience was that this seat-cushion worked for me, and allowed me to get on with pursuing the dubious pleasures of a spin class, without being hindered by the cycle seat, or mine.

Not perfect, but not far off
I bought this on the basis of the number of 5 star ratings, and for the most part it's deserving.Positives:Fitting is a straightforward affair, though it's worth bearing in mind you may need to adjust your saddle height, and possibly saddle angle (I needed to tilt mine back a little more as the padding adds more height to the back half of the saddle than the front, so the front needed raising a little to level things out again). It doesn't look as bulky and "comfort saddle" like as I worried it may (and as some padded covers do). It does obviously bulk up your seat, but is more height than width. The silicon pads are a genius idea and in the 70-80 miles I've done so far I've not felt the cover move once (and I'm a fidgety rider, so if anyone was gonna shift it, it'd be me).The most important thing of course is the comfort, and it fairs pretty damn well in that regard. It doesn't eliminate 100% of discomfort from a long ride, but that would be an unrealistic expectation anyway. And when I WAS a bit sore, getting out of the saddle for a bit, then sitting back down, it made for a comfortable place to rest your backside down on again (unlike my actual saddle which tended to be sore to sit down on again once you were sore). I don't think any cover could provide much more (or ANY) improvement on what this cover manages in regards comfort.Negatives:I can only really provide one, and that's the thin material over the top of the cover. It is not a durable material and I can see it snagging and tearing the minute a branch catches it, or it gets leant against anything rough or sharp. But then they have clearly focussed on comfort, and at the price it is, I can live with being a little more careful with where I put my bike down. One last comment on WizMove themselves (the manufacturer/seller). They were great when I had to contact them prior to ordering, and answered my query rapidly, and in a very friendly manner. BUT, I would suggest they cut back on the post-order messages - three (automated?) follow-up messages in a week is a little over attentive. Cut it down to the one follow up message chaps :)

Life changer
I was thinking about selling my bike because I could not enjoy riding anymore. The pain on my bum, my crotch was unbearable when riding. Also I was getting pimples on my bikini line due to the texture of my saddle. I decided to try this as a last chance for my bike (which I love anyway). The first couple of days were horrible, even worse than without it. Then when I was certain I was returning it, I had to go somewhere on my bike and it's like my body had adjusted and I felt no pain whatsoever. And from then on I had no problems anymore. So if you get one give it a few days, it may work for you the same way it did for me.I love riding my bike again.

Tried out a cure for saddle sore :)
Having just moved back to the country side I decided to get back into biking and with my kids now 6 and 8 they are keen to explore the country air (and the local pub en route) The problem I have is when I used to cycle I used to suffer with joint stiffness afterwards. I already have a "softer" seat on my bike but this still didn't work. I was looking and came across this silicone cover seat and thought it was a good price. Normally whole seats are 40 to 100 pound so I thought I would purchase this and place it over my existing seat . So yesterday in the rare sunshine we haven't seen much of lately me and the boy donned our coats and off we went on the bike. we only biked a few miles but its fair to say I did notice a difference in the comfort level using this seat and this morning I feel fairly freely movable. Well defiently continue to use the cushion you simply slip it over your existing seat and tie it up underneath. The sticky pads stop it from sliding about which is a neat touch . I think it looks cool in red as well but see for yourself as I attached a picture of it before we set off :)

Absolutely perfect!
Did over 80 miles the past couple of days with my new gel seat cover, and absolutely no problem riding 4 hours non-stop with it; I only quit because I'd reached my destination but my rear could definitely have handled more saddle time. Before getting the gel cover I could barely manage 2 hours on the bike before I'd have to quit due to major soreness.Easy to fit - literally took seconds - and no slipping in over 8 hours of riding, so far. One of the best purchases I've made. 100% effectiveness.
