The story begins with Parvana being captured by the Americans, but we don't know why, or what is going on. Gradually, with each other chapter going back and forth in time, we learn how she came to be where she is. A fine conclusion to the whole Breadwinner series. Parvana has grown up. Recommend the whole dang series, for middle-school readers, but good for adults too.
