I have a lot of neurological problems (ALD), especially in my legs and feet. I have foot drop in both of my feet, and wear braces to help me walk during the day. Lately, I have been having problems with my feet at night in bed. I felt like I needed support, so we tried propping them up with pillows, but that still didn't help support my ankles. So I started to research for night braces or something to support my ankle and foot, but still be comfortable. I was lucky enough, with the help of Amazon, to find Light Step Ankle Compression Sleeves! I really love the support I get; I am even wearing them around the house in place of my braces when I am relaxing. While reading reviews about size, I choose one size smaller for a snug fit. I usually wear a woman's size 91/2-10, so I ordered a small, which was perfect for me. Sorry for the long review, I hope it helps you, as much as it's helped me. :)

I have swelling from surgery after breaking my ankle. My PT suggested a compression sleeve to help reduce the swelling so I could improve my range of motion.I literally tried several brands/types of sleeve/braces for my ankle. They were either too tight where I could not get them on my foot or too loose and did not do much. This was the right mix. I got the compression I needed and it added some support. Order a size smaller for more compression. I would have ordered a large based on sizing but got a medium based on reviews an it fits perfectly with the add bit of compression. Fits on easily and does not bunch up on my foot under my sock.Very happy with the product and it comes in a pair so I have an extra. These ankle compression sleeves were purchased to keep the swelling down after a large, heavy weight tipped over and hit my ankle ( a 50 kg weight plate to be specific, and yes it hurt). My doctor suggested that compression would help keep the pain down in the first couple of weeks since I couldn't lie around elevating my ankle all the time. They did indeed reduce the pain of standing up and putting pressure on the ankle each time I moved from sitting to standing. As the swelling went down, I would have preferred little more compression, but that would have been too much at first.

I've only been using these for a couple weeks but they have worked so well I've already ordered another pair. I had what should have been a simple surgery go very bad & I'm told I'll never recover fully. These not only relieved pain right away but have made it easier to walk when I can. They arrived quickly, the seller seems very concerned with product & customer service, which is very nice! My ONLY complaint so far is that I can't get them in different colors, but that will come later I'm sure. If anything changes I'll update this review. These are great, i bought a second pair after wearing the first. I wear size 12.5-13 and ordered a large. Fit is great but around the bottom of the foot, after some time (6hrs?), it makes it ache but overall these are perfect for me. I had an ankle injury and these helped keep them stable when walking. I had to quit wearing them when my one ankle started swelling and this sleeve made it ache. This was not due to the sleeve but my ankle in general...it is fubar according to MRI so put these in the drawer for later.

Love these! I don't like wearing compression socks because they get too hot and my feet sweat so having these helps my previously broken fibula not to "click" so much around the house. I haven't used them with running yet but the tightness of the sleeve lets me know that they will work fine> I have others similar to this that work fine but these feel better so I can tell running will be a breeze. Came quickly in the mail too undamaged

I am one happy customer. I have venous insufficiency and wear 30/40 weight stockings for years now. At night I get a deep ridge at my ankles from the stockings slipping and the tops of my feet swell. So...I bought your product and put them on top of my compression stockings during the day. The swelling has reduced a lot!In the evening, while watching TV or on the computer, I just wear your product and it really helps with the swelling. I can wear heels at night now! I have been suffering from heel pain for several months now. Upon getting out of bed in the morning, I can barely walk to the tub. Once I put this sleeve on I was able to walk without hopping or limping. I was amazed that this made such a difference in the pain.
