I decided to try this cheese version as the others were out of stock.They’re very similar to the others -- same shape/size -- but with a mild cheese flavor. I’ve used these for breakfast (sausage, scrambled eggs, a sprinkling of cheese), for pulled pork (pulled pork, barbecue sauce, a veggie [corn or beans]), for “open” burritos (refried beans, carnitas, spicy salsa), even chicken “pot pie” (diced poached chicken breast, mixed veggies, mushrooms, with a white wine/cream sauce). The cheese flavor adds an extra non-obtrusive taste that doesn't clash with other flavors.Very happy I tried these. THE SKY'S THE LIMIT! *by C***D on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2013* We use these for a LOT of things....think about it....little boats of flour tortilla that you can stuff with any number of things and eat it when it's done...no mess, no baking, nothing. We started off with the taco meat. Then we had leftover spaghetti meat sauce, so I made pizza boats with extra pepperoni and cheese, then we wanted Chinese but money's tight, right? So we got a big order of General Tso's chicken and filled our boats up with rice and chicken and steamed broccoli and voila! Ten bucks and it fed all four of us comfortably. We decided to brainstorm and come up with other things we could use these shells for. Curried chicken salad. Awesome. Leftover beef stew--fantastic. Chef salads. As long as it's not soupy and won't soak thru the tortilla, it works well. Even Indian butter curry was delish in these things. Money tight? Clean out the fridge on Sunday night and heat up the leftovers. For every leftover, it gets in a warmed "boat" and everyone gets one or two. If you run out of leftovers, make scrambled eggs to "fill in the cracks" and load the eggs, with some cheese and maybe a cut up piece of ham, into the tortilla boat. You not only saved money from ordering pizza, but you didn't waste your food you already paid for and cooked. This tactic works with regular flat tortillas, too, for some things, but the boats just give you so many more options!
