Duff's Adjustable Handle Doorstop (replaced with Duffs Heavy Duty Doorstop)

While I like the idea of this I'm just not sure it was what I needed for my screen door. I wanted something to wedge open my screen door as I go in & out of my house in my power wheelchair. The door stopper should be heavier on the bottom because my screen door pushes against it even though it's wedged the screen open, it won't stay in place and the screen door knocks the wedge over, whether I use the big end or the longer end.A screen door is installed for the door to close when you go into or out of it. My screens aren't big heavy doors but they will knock this wedge over a bunch of times before it finally stays put...even then, it will fall over with the slightest movement, like a breeze. I wedge it between a very heavy door mat end and the screen. The mat won't move, therefore the screen with the wedge stays put. Inside the house by the door (waiting to be used) it falls over easily and just isn't very stable, even on a hardwood floor. On a carpet, I imagine it wouldn't stand up steady even more so.Great idea with the long handle but I think if it was heavier it would work. For now, I will keep trying to get this item heavier (maybe glue something in the underside area) while looking for something similar with a heavier wedge.

Bought this for my aunt who is wheelchair bound. I actually left one of the handle pieces off, making the handle shorter since she is lower to the ground in her wheelchair.

Got this for my classroom. I teach middle school and needed something to hold the door while I stand outside in between bells. Works great and easy to keep track of because of the handle. Seems sturdy but light weight.

Great for our hotel room service use.

The doorstop is as described. I purchased the adjustable handle to enable me to easily reach it and adjust its position while in a standing position. It's just what I needed. It came with simple instructions and arrived in a timely manner.

The stopper works well. I have one question which they are working to answer, and have been very helpful.

This is perfect especially for seniors. They do not have to bend to put or remove a door stopper. What a great idea!

My mom uses a wheelchair to get around and this is perfect for her to keep her front door open while she's going through. And it's easy to reach to remove from the door.
