PlayStation 2 Console Slim PS2

Very happy with this purchase the controller is in good condition and the cords look good aswell the console has some scratches but other than that the console turns on and works I liked the packaging it came in person did a good job thank you again.

For a while, I've been wanting to own a PlayStation 2 just so I can go back and relive the nostalgia with the games I've played growing up, and when I finally got it I was absolutely filled with joy to have the console in my hands for the first time in nearly a decade.As far as the console itself went, it looked to be in really good shape. I did have to disassemble the console since it looked very dirty on the inside, but after spending some time cleaning it up it has worked wonders so far. The controller works fine, just the D-Pad can be a bit unresponsive to where I have to press down pretty hard on the right one specifically if I'm trying to tweak some settings in-game or on the system in general. Good thing I ordered a extra controller as a backup.So far, so good when it comes to the PS2. Hasn't given me any problems, especially since I had to disassemble it to give it a good cleaning. Overall, I'm impressed.

I love the PS2. It has games that give me childhood nostalgia (talking about you Kingdom Hearts). When my first PS2 broke down I was devastated and at the time (early 2017) I thought there would be no more PS2's or people would sell them for so much money that I wouldn't be able to live in my place without running into rent problems. Then comes Amazon, I go online search up some PS2's and I find one for a reasonably good price and without hesitation I order it. I wait a few days and then I get a package in the mail but something looked off. There was a huge tear in the packaging and I got very scared. I carefully opened up the package and slid out the PS2 and found out that there was a HUGE crack that led to exposure of the hardware inside the PS2. I was LIVID, firstly I just got the damn thing in the mail and its ALREADY damaged when there was no indication on the Amazon post saying it was damaged. I went and messaged the sellers and told them the situation and they didn't care since they had already got my money for it. The PS2 itself works alright, but with that crack and how the sellers did nothing to help me with what happened, I give this rating a 1 star and if I could I would make it a 0 star rating.

The media could not be loaded. System loads and plays games fine. No loud noises and memory card slots work. System looks great. Very happy with this purchase.

It works okay with the game I got there is a glitch when playing a certain part of the game I am not sure if it's the PlayStation 2 or if it's the game.and it will not read certain movies and when I tried a movie that some people would call scary it said to change the parental control but it would not let me even when I tried the code that the technician said to use and it didn't come with instructions

It was rather scratched on top and was white instead of black and wasn't in original packaging but i didnt expect perfection, It had different cording than I was used to with my old one, and the SD card door was missing, it also had part if a fast food straw wrapping in the cd compartment, it took a bit to start up but hasn't frozen yet but it's only been an hour since I got it

I was looking for a great condition ps2 slim. I had one as a kid and I really missed it. Came across this gem from a third party seller that offered prime shipping. Had little to no scratches, completely dust free, and all original hardware packaged very well. Came with an original Sony ps2 controller, memory card, original av cable, and the power cable and brick. Did not come in it’s original box but I was never looking for the original box anyway. Overall I got everything I was looking for at a fair price. Very happy with my purchase.

Amazing!!! The Playstation 2 did have some cosmetic wear and dirt in the crevices of the mechanism, but these were described in detail by the seller. Overall, this was the condition I expected when I bought it, and I do not regret buying it in the least. I am now able to play all the old games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil Director's Cut, Resident Evil 2, GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, etc. Couldn't be happier with this order and this seller (Event Horizon). It even came with a Sony brand controller in mint condition and all the cables required for operation! Buy it for 90s nostalgia!!!
