Waxations Citronella Highly Scented Summer Yellow 72 Pk Indoor/Outdoor Votive Candles

I ordered these for a party we had outside in late July. We put them in mason jars and placed them around the tables and where people were standing. I think they worked pretty well. The smell was not super over powering and they kept the bugs away!

I lit 2 of these and wasn't bitten all night. I live in Seattle, its summer, and we only have annoying patio mosquitoes for a couple hours before sunset when the bats eat them. But those 2 hours suck when you get bit over and over. I had a Coleman candle and an OFF brand. Both weren't doing the trick completely. These seemed to work! They also lasted hours! Good deal for a huge box. The only issue is they smell so bad, the box they came in is in the garage and the whole thing smells really strongly.

These work well. The scent is a bit off putting while eating outdoors with them but that is citronella not this product in general. Very well made and they last quite a while. Definitely recommend though you do need about 6-7 to ensure that flies really go away.

These are very strongly scented. They smell nice. I actually have several just sitting around the garage and near doors to help with the mosquitoes. I did light a couple but did not really notice a difference in the strength of the scent. I'll still burn a few on occasion, but I think just sitting them around is as effective and last longer.

I purchased this because I have small dogs who are in and out of the house, a lot, letting in insects, like mosquitoes. Worked for me. I actually have used these indoors on occasion. I like them so much I placed a second order....perfect for my needs. I like the size of the candle.

The best citronella candles I've ever purchased! The mosquitoes disappear and the entire backyard smelled beautifully.These candles are STRONG! But the smell is not obnoxious. I actually love the smell, it's very lemon-y. I left the empty box in our recycle bin in the garage and when I came home the next day, I was surprised at how lemony-fresh my garage smelled, haha!I would definitely recommend it to everybody.

These are great. They burn well and work as well as any citronella candle can. When you compare $ per burn hour, these are a great deal. (~33 hours per $1.)Living in southwest Naples, Florida. We live right on a lake and love to have the windows and back slider doors open from October-March, no insects in the house yet.

A wonderful way to keep the "no-seeums" from coming in the bedroom window screen. The burn for about 9-10 hours, giving ample time for a good night sleep. Work extremely well with the Hosley Crystal Clear Glass Votive Holder.
