Although many of the greatest Grand Tour champions made the annual mistake of taking the winter off (looking at you, Ullrich), you can rest assured that Tinkoff-Saxo's indefatigable captain, Contador, never does. That's because he knows that all those hours spent grinding out base miles in the cold of December mean that much more power in your legs come the third week of July. (Or September, as was the case in 2014.) For El Pistolero, there's a lot riding on whether or not he can get those winter miles, so he turns to Sportful's Bodyfit Pro Thermal Bib Tights in order to ensure he stays on the road. Since the knee is both our leading appendage and one of the most susceptible to cold, Sportful double-layered the fabric over it. The modifier "flat" defines the seams, with lay-flat trim on the bibs and flatlock stitching throughout the entire article. Seam ridges are virtually eliminated, so you won't suffer any abrasions. Camlock ankle zippers keep the hems of the legs where you want them: down, covering your lower legs and not expo...
