Pie Iron Recipes (Northwoods Cooking Collection)

I like the recipes in this book. There are no pictures, but that's ok, I like it for my square pie iron.

I liked this book a lot. So many recipes for all kinds of meals that I never would have thought about. I just wish there were a few pictures to go with them.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try any of these yet. They look like they will be yummy.

After school each day my brother and I had a cheese toast tite, made with a case iron maker that we made on the gas stove. Finally got one of my own. This book opened a whole new batch of ideas and not just cheese, tomato and mustard from our childhood days. Am looking forward to trying a few of the recipes along with my own ideas. Glad I got this book.

I like it better than the Pie Irons themselves which are almost too small to be useful. They need to be about 1.5 times the size they are and I cant find any that are that size . . . rats.

Used some of these for my camping trip. The baked beans one is delicious, but I used some beans from a local BBQ with brisket in it, so I'm sure that helped but these are delicious.

I like cookbooks with at least some pictures but I do understand the explanation that professional photos would increase the cost. But, I would like to see "real" pictures of the products not photoshopped professional photos that look nothing like the real product by an average person over a campfire. There is a good assortment of recipes to suit many campers.

My daughter got me pie irons for Christmas. I bought this Recipie book and I have tried several recipies. The recipies are wonderful. I use the recipies every time we go camping. I highly recommend this cook book.

No images, seems a bit expensive for only written recepies that sometimes feel i wont do because it will ruine my pie iron which cant be wash in soap.

Absolutely love this book. Many recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Easy to read with step by step instructions. I have been camping for almost 50 years and this is the best recipe book I have found!! Thanks Darren! 😊

I would not recommend this book, you could get better iron pie ideas online.
