I was very pleased with the Compact DVD Player for TV, Multi Region HDMI 1080P Digital DVD Player with Remote Control by Ylanton because it was a great replacement for my newer television which did not have a RCA connection for my older model dvd player. I used the HDMI connection and it worked fine. It had a marvelous picture and even though I was hesitant in buying this dvd player at first with reading some of the reviews, I decided to try it for myself and basically I did not have any trouble with playing my dvds.I just had one dvd that did not play for piano lessons. It played to hear the instructions but did not show the picture of what was being instructed, but I did not see this as a major problem. The instruction manual was not the greatest, but I reread them and played around with the remote to understand the features included in the instructions better. Some of the features that the remote was suppose to have were not on the remote, but some of the features on the remote served the same purpose as the features listed in the instructions that were missing on the remote. For instance, Return was not on the remote, but Rewind serves the same purpose.So I could be honest in my review, I tried different dvds from music, exercise to academic courses. I honestly have not tried a movie dvd yet, but I primarily bought this dvd player for exercise dvds and some other dvds. The overall function of the dvds I played out weighed any of the other flaws I found. The dvds played very well with a nice picture. I would recommend this dvd player by Ylanton because if you cannot afford a more expensive brand at this time this dvd player worked just great for my needs.

This is a great little DVD player I like the smaller size all of ours are older ones and bulky This one isn't and it's perfect for anywhere but especially in the camper and I love how it comes with hdmi cables or the red white and yellow ones because the camper TV is super old but ours in the house are newer so it works for all of them! It's very easy to use my 6 year old already watched the little mermaid in it. Would definitely recommend and it's a great price !

I am very happy with this multi-region DVD player. I have been using it for a few weeks and, so far, it has played all my DVDs no matter what region they have been from. I don't have to do any type of manual switching, the player senses the region and plays it automatically. So far, it has worked very well. I see a lot of criticisms about there being no Menu button on the remote, but my remote has one. My only complaint is that if I stop a DVD say in the middle of the program, when I reinstall the DVD and want to watch from the beginning, I have not found a quick way to get there. This may be my fault and not the player's. I will keep working at it. I couldn't find any mention of it in the manual, which is, by the way, printed in a very tiny font--I have to use a magnifying glass to read it clearly. So, I guess that is 2 complaints, but, overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

The product does not last. I bought 3 of these items and one of them will not read a DVD. I did try other DVDs that worked on the other players. Now that my 6 months are up there is no way to return. Think the product would last at least a year. Return policy for this type of product should be a longer period of time. No excuses for this failure

bought this one to replace a working one that couldn't read a USA video bought in usa. This off brand worked ok and played all videos, no issues, this machine doesn't have some normal things that the sony had for controlling the video, but that was a 2 star take and the second is the led lights on the display did NOT work for the first week of use, I tapped the machine and the red LEDs came on and does so sometimes, controller you have to be right in front of the machine to get to read from remote control? was another star. Delivery was good and fast from Us wharehouse so no issues with Mail. just need more luck? and if this is not used this will be my very last review for amazon!!!

This DVD PLAYER was very easy to hook up - which older people will appreciate! I was surprised that the plug fit perfectly into the AmericanElectrical outlet without an additional plug! Itcomes with an HDMI cord that fits perfectly.The picture is very good and pretty sharp. WhenYou hit the open drawer button - there is nodelay - it opens immediately.The only odd query is why doesn’t it have a MENUBUTTON OR A RETURN FEATURE?? The on screendisplay is a bit off - but I’m still fiddling with itBecause sometimes, late at night, I like to useCaptions for Hard of Hearing because I can’t putThe TV too loud because of the older peopledownstairs that go to bed early! I’m pretty happywith this purchase because I love the British andSwedish shows - and my SHERLOCK HOLMES!!

I spent many hours trying to choose a decent dvd player without having to spend 100 bucks. Well I'm pretty sure this is it! It works very well. Came with both kinds of hookup cords and a nice remote. Its an unfamiliar brand so I worried about the quality but I must say its well made.UPDATE 9/3/2021 I TAKE BACK MY REVIEW!!! I WAS OFFERED A FREE GIFT BY THIS SELLER, IF I LEFT A SUPER GOOD REVIEW AND 5 STARS BEFORE I EVEN USED THE DVD PLAYER. IM SORRY I DID THAT. ITS MISLEADING AND DISHONEST. AND AFTER I PROVED TO HIM THAT I LEFT A GOOD REVIEW HE GHOSTED ME! THIS DVD PLAYER IS GARBAGE AND SO IS THE JERK SELLING THEM. IT DOESNT WORK RIGHT, ITS NOISY AND IT WONT PLAY MOST DVDS!! I really like it is inexpensive and compact, has everything to hook up. Has a remote but doesn't have batteries, but takes 2 AAA batteries, which I keep around for all my other remotes. Gives a great picture on our 55 inch TV. I have had expensive ones in past and not as good quality as this one! Way to go again Amazon!
