Before I purchased this setup I did a lot of research on line as far as what to look for with vlogging equipment. There are so many different options that I just focused on looking for a setup that would capture crystal clear sound, have a sturdy mount for my iPhone, and provide extra lighting. With a few other setups I could find 2 out of the three, but this is the only one I have found that has the stand (which allows you to fold up the legs and use it as a handle on the go), the lights, and the bracket to hold your phone. It’s all very easy to setup and thus far it has worked perfectly. The microphone is great and provides great sound to my videos. The stand is very sturdy and does a very good job of distributing weight so that I don’t have to worry about anything tipping over. Also the lights really enhances the natural light as well as providing light when you are in darker areas. If you have a newer iPhone you will need to order a toggle for your lightning input so that you can connect the mic to your phone. Other than that it’s all plug and play right out of the box !!

The media could not be loaded. I have been looking at camera accessories for a long time. I do spend a significant amount of money in these, so cost was an issue. Come this item, fairly prices and works like a charm.Advantages:1. Covers it all; a mic, a light (brighter than I thought it would be), phone mounts, carrying case for mic, you name it!2. Good quality mic, definitely an upgrade for a mic in your camera.3. Very bright LED, works with 2 AA batteries,4. Phone mount is amazingly rugged.Only complain I had was it should have included combo bag so all of it can be transported in one bag.

I record YouTube videos onto a green screen using the front-facing camera of my iPhone 7 Plus. Unless you’re within a foot or so of the mic and are directly in front of it, it’s really not too much different than the phone’s built-in. And since I can’t record my nostrils, I put the mic on a tripod and put it in front of me. Once you nail proximity, the mic is spectacular! It’s not a Rode or a Shure, but there is a notable difference over the built-in iP7p. NOTE: You HAVE to plug the mic into the dongle, then plug the dongle into the phone and make sure it’s fully plugged in (you’ll feel it). If you plug in the dongle first then plug in the mic, it probably won’t work.The light is super bright. Thank goodness it’s adjustable. If you make this your only light doing inside videos with no ambient lighting, you’re going to have hot spots on your face. NOTE: Make sure the switch is turned OFF before you install the batteries! If you install bats while the switch is on, the light won’t come on. Go figure.The tripod stand serves better as a selfie handle than a tripod, but it’s not bad enough to give it a negative review. It is sturdy and holds well.Four stars not because of functionality, but because most people would return it as non-functional if they didn’t know about the battery trick of the light and the dongle “trick” of the mic.

Works great. I need to make videos for my students and my daughter needs to submit video book reports. The microphone on my phone was so low you could barely hear our videos. This one hooked up easily and works great. It made a huge difference. My daughter stood across the room and whispered and I could still hear her in the video. The tripod is stable and the light is adjustable. I’m really happy with it.

My husband said it wasn’t compatible with his iPhone 13 needed a cord or something. Sent back.

Used this microphone outdoors to stream church services using my phone. It worked without issue with my iPhone 12 Pro (using 3.5mm to lightning adapter). The wind cover for the mic filters out all wind noise beautifully. Really impressed with the audio output. One negative is the mount to attach the mic to the device/tripod. The clip that the mic fits into feels flimsy. I have no signs of wear or impending breakage after 4 months but it feels like if you push too hard putting the mic on, it could snap. Overall, we have been really pleased with this product.

We bought this when we started our Youtube channel, but have since gotten a real camera. These products work great, we still use the light and the tripod. Not sure how well the mic actually works, but for what you pay for, the products are good. The tripod and the phone mount are very sturdy and durable, and the light gets super bright.

the light is good but I can hardly get through filming one video without the batteries dying, making inconsistent lighting in my videos. I'm not kidding, it take 2 AA batteries and I have to change them almost every time.then the microphone does NOTHING. YES it is plugged in. I have the correct adapter for my iPhone, and when it's plugged in I take a video and tap the microphone. Listen back to video and I can HEAR the microphone so I know it's working. But when I play back my youtube videos it sounds EXACTLY like having NO microphone at all.The tripod works ok but it's still flimsy and not worth $50 since the other gear doesn't work.
