Disappointing Experience
I ordered this based on the description and not the picture. I needed dark cherry and the actual product was even lighter than the picture. The wood is beautiful but the finish was not smooth and the turntable didn't turn smoothly.My real concern was the vendor. When I saw the shipping cost of $67, I cancelled the order. He called me an offered to refund part of the shipping cost ($30+) which he did. The actual shipping cost was $30 so why the $67 in the first place?Then when I proceeded to return it because of the color issue he called and told me all I had to do was leave it in the sun and it would turn to dark cherry! I declined. Then he threatened to only give a partial refund because it was custom made. When I challenged that, he said reluctantly agreed to give me a full refund in 30 days. We'll see.This is an unprofessional vendor who isn't up to Amazon standards. He may do good work but his business practices are suspect.
