Developmental How did you come up with the idea for this product? Soon after the iPad launched, it was clear that tablets were going to be a very popular toy in children’s toy box. But decades of research say that physical play is a really important part of early childhood development. At Tiggly, we saw an opportunity to bring physical play and tablets together in a unified physical-meets-digital experience. Two of the shapes didn't work so we exchanged for ...
Two of the shapes didn't work so we exchanged for a new set and once again two of the shapes didn't work. I contacted tiggly and they asked for my tablet info. I responded with the info but didn't not receive a response until a month and a half latter. I returned the item within this time so I didn't get stuck with a product that didn't work. Tiggle says they have the apps working now but just beware you may have to send the item back.

Great fun learning tool!
My daughter is 3.5 and got this for her 3rd birthday. She loves her Tiggly apps and shapes,numbers and letters. I need to help her with some of the apps but the shape ones she can do on her own. She can make animals and use the shapes as stamps. They are durable and work well with the apps which are either free or included with the box (you get a code). Easy app installation and the storage bag keeps everything together. Great learning tool that should last a while.

Great for ages 1-5!
Tiggly shapes are great for introducing shapes to young children!! My youngest started playing with it at around 1 years old and my middle daughter started playing with them at around 3 years old. They are both now almost 3 and 5 and still enjoy playing with the apps and shapes! Tiggly apps are both fun and educational!

So easy even a two-year-old can do it.
My two-year-old caught onto this like he’s been doing it forever. I love how easy this concept is. It’s very educational and not intimidating or sensory overload. I can’t wait to try the math kit. Works well with my iPad2 and works well with our Samsung kid tablet.

The shapes and the letters did not work on our Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablet. Had to return due to the frustration of our kiddos. We kept the numbers as they do okay, but our kids only use the number tools half the time - the other half they just play without them (there's two settings you can choose from). I had such high hopes for these, but sadly we'll wait until something else comes out.

Super fun for a young child, it is less worrisome having my daughter on electronics as this combines real tools and toys with education. I will definitely consider purchasing the other ones as my child gets older.

Will break apart over time
Quality of the product is not satisfactory for the price. It is made of a rubber like material that starts to crack and fall apart over time.
