Led Headlamp, Tolizi Rechargeable Waterproof Headlamp With COB Board Flood Light, 18650 USB Zoomable Head Lamp For Outdoor Camping Hiking Hunting

This is my second headlamp from Amazon, I burned out the popular 5 led headlamp from another brand by accidentally shorting it. I never used the 4 small lights on the other unit so I thought I’d give this single light lamp a try.There are a couple problems with the battery compartment that make it a no go for me. One is the 18650 batteries are such a tight fit, if you’re planning on hot swapping them it would be a pain. Why even make them removable at that point. I also tried a pair of LG IMR 3500mah 10a and they were just as tight so I stopped there. Minus 1 star. If you’re only ever going to recharge with the supplied cord you’d be fine. Flat top cells don’t work if you’re curious but some time with a file on the housing and you could make them work. I’m not deducting anything for that since this is advertised as button top cells (even though I think making it for button tops is stupid).Second and bigger problem costing two stars is the battery cover. It’s thin rubber and with the light on your head you can feel the two cells against your head and it’s uncomfortable. Other lamp had curved plastic and was much more comfortable. If you have a lot of hair you might be fine or if you’ll be wearing this exclusively over a hat or helmet you’d be fine.I can’t call this lamp 1 star since it works but even at sixteen bucks it’s not work keeping and I’m going to go through the trouble of returning it. Two stars.

Works good today.The cob close up light is very handy.It zooms , so it has many purposes.It can be wide enough for close-up workor zoom to a sharper find the dog spot.The battery case needs a chunk of foam in there, got that.The batteries are very had to remove, but generally I would charge in lightHaving the batteries removable at all, means it will last beyond the life of the batteries that comes with it, so I am ok with that.The case it came with, I don't really need, but it helped the product survive shipping, that is worth something,Total con:headband is very small, fully extended it is like a head clampI will have to stretch it out on something before I can even wear it.

This seems like a good headlamp. However, I have a large head size and it does not fit me well even with the straps fully extended. Also, the lamp beam is square and it is not aligned horizontally. This is not a big deal, but I would prefer it if the beam pattern was not tilted when it shines on a surface.Update: The seller contacted me about my comments and was very helpful. They said they would pass my suggestions on to the manufacturer. Nice that someone is watching these comments!

Have had several of this type of light and have eventually given them away. I have other LED head lights for working on vehicles and projects around the house, but this Tolizi Rechargeable Waterproof Headlamp With COB Board Flood Light, 18650 batteries is the type I like for hiking and camping out. The batteries last all night the light can be used to flood or spot and this was just what I was looking for to replace my missing ones. Price was good, shipping prompt.

I will stick with the older version of this head ligth ,cheaper and brighter ,,,on this specific ligth you are paying extra for the case,,,I do not recommend this ligth!

It’s good led headlamp. The battery is rechargeable. The light is super bright.Easy to use and nice quality. It’s wonderful to be able to crawl under the house “hand free” when I use this headlamp. The price is good.

I`m outside a lot at night and this thing is awesome. fits good on my head with a ball cap. holds a good charge. the light is great. when fully charged the little red light turns green. no issues with the battery's at all

Awesome headlamp for my son and I during Scouting events. Many brightness settings and very well built. I now own two!
