Amazing value
Anyone who complains just doesn’t know how to use a straight razor and shouldn’t have bought one in the first place. You’re just not manly enough. My razor was sharp as can be and glides smooth with some shaving gel and does a great job. Haven’t used the strop yet but i’m sure it will do exactly what it’s supposed to. Idk how much better a $180 razor could be than this one....don’t waste you’re money on something expensive and just buy this. You’ll be very happy just like me.

Never going back to a regular razor.
I've wanted a straight razor with a leather strop forever. I'm really not sure why I never bought one. Now that I have one, I'll never go back. This razor is very slick. I use it to clean up around my beard and neck. Also, if I ever encounter a large group of men snapping in unison, I'll feel much safer with this.

Pretty good find
So, to start out there are a lot of negative reviews, for this product. But there were enough positive reviews that made me try it.I took the razor straight out of the box and shaved with it. So, yes its shave ready but, it wasnt a smooth shave. I stoped the blade for about 10 mins and achieved the desired shave. This is a very good product for its price and i think people wanting to save money by switching to a straight razor will like it.

Decent. Not great, but not bad either.
For the price it’s not a bad find. The strop is nice quality and the blade is ok. Not great ok. I don’t recommend this for beginners because since the blade comes to a point at the tip it requires extra attention as not to jab yourself. The price is great for what it is. It holds an edge ok. I wouldn’t say that it’s ability to hold an edge is either impressive or poor. If you have a little experience with strait razor shaving but don’t want to spend a lot of money it’s not a bad one to add to your collection.

Love it
Dont know what all the hate is about . Stroped for 10 minutes and it passed the hanging hair test , gave a great shave . Either i got lucky or the hate reviews are from folks salty they spent 200 on a straight with the "Made in the USA" price tag

I like
Not for beginners. I would recommend one with rounded ends on the blade. I love this one. Very nice. Also the strop nice. A little short but for the price thumbs up.

Not a good blade
It's good to understand the basics of using a straight razor. But as for the razor itself, the steel is very poor quality. It can't hold an edge. I tried using it out of the box. Used the strop, lathered up and had everything ready. I didn't even get past the first side of my face, and it was already dull. I have a 5000 and 10000 grit stone. So, I sharpened the blade really well. With the next shave I got a little further than the first time, but it just got so dull I couldn't even recover it with stroping... again. I can't see using a sharpening stone to sharpen the blade mid shave that's ridiculous. If you want to start/learn to shave with a straight razor, get a shavette with some blades to see how you do and how you like it. If you find that you like it, then upgrade and get a quality straight razor.
