This was my 9yr Olds mandatory summer reading. She really enjoyed reading it and loved telling me all it.Definitely a must read for older elementary students.

Great book.

Great kids book. Bought this for my son who is in 5th grade and needed to do a book report. Now my son doesn't like to read that much so I was surprised to see we didn't really have to force him to read it like normal. This book is a quick read so he didn't get bored with it.

Such a simple story, yet it profoundly illustrates the need for character and humility for all - especially those in leadership. Too, this very valuable lesson is put in simple terms to be able to clearly communicate this concept to even the youngest of children.We read this for family story time and the only reason we stopped each night was because my throat wasn't up to the marathon of reading it all in one go!

This was read with my 4th grader and for him it was hard to understand the English references, words or terms. The meaning behind the story was a good one for kids. My son enjoyed the story of Jemmy and Prince Brat. Seems both boys learned a lot from their journey.

My son loved the book.

This book was written in a way that our children could enjoy the story and learn a little history at the same time. As a family we enjoyed the read.

Using this novel for my grade four novel study. It’s a great book!
