Batteries aren't even 2200 mAh capacity
These batteries are not as advertised and I would not recommend them. Performed a break-in charge of 4 of the batteries with my Powerex charger and not one even reached 2200 mAh. NiMH batteries should always be within 10% of the stated capacity brand new. They should be relabeled as 2200 mAh batteries and their price reduced to reflect the proper size.

Capacity 2016/2207mAh not 2800mAh over 20% less than advertised
I'm used to rechargeable Batteries hardly ever living up to their advertised capacity. But with the joy of Amazon's free return, I made myself the experiment and ordered several batches of claimed 2800mAh Batteries, including these Zonhood AA 16-Pack, the appearance was very nice, securely packed and very appealing looking in a nice Plastic storage case. I only tested two of their Batteries, to be completely honest. After a full charge-discharge-charge cycle I got a measurement from the "XTAR VC8" Charger of only 2016mAh for one and 2207mAh for the other. While that is about average of most other tested brands (Soxono, PowerOwl and RayHom [being just slightly better!]) it is over 20% below the advertised capacity. EBL's 2800mAh AA's got a reading of 2583-2640mAh. Rechargeable Battery manufacturer should finally start advertising real Numbers!I have not made any long-time tests over the years, so I don't know how durable they are and how many cycles they really would work.

Claimed 2800 mAhr but these are not 2800 mAhr batteries. Actual is 1800. Unresponsive seller
These batteries were tested to see what the mAhr (millampere-hour) rating was. They are advertised on Amazon and written on the battery as 2800 mAhr. I really wanted some good, high capacity AA batteries for flashlights and camping lanterns.Tests was done with two batteries in series powering a 33 ohm and next a 17 ohm load. All batteries were discharged with small incandescent lamp and recharged with Energizer charger for 24 hours before test. Ambient temperature was about 63-65 F. See attached test reportUnfortunately , none were close to the claimed 2800 mAhr rating. Most were about 1800 mAhr on both 33 and 17 ohm load. Several were discharged and recharged and tested again. Same result.I contacted the Seller thru Amazon on Monday. As of Saturday, there was no response. Conclusion: Batteries are 68% of advertised and seller is unresponsive

Awesome batteries for a great price
Really glad I found this deal on Amazon. A great deal for this many batteries. I charged up fine and they work great in my sons Xbox one controllers. They all charged up perfectly and have been getting a lot of used with other electronic devices around the house. The the charge on them lasts as long as any other rechargeable batteries that I have maybe even better. I'm very happy I found these and definitely recommend them. Also recommend that you search for a charger like I have that I bought on Amazon. It has a nice house screen to show the charge level of each battery individually.

2200mAh batteries wrapped into 2800mAh
I have tested 4 out of the 8 batteries and they all show as 2200mAh, not 2800mAh (as per charger test photo attached showing capacity/10). This is clearly not a mistake and it's coming to a point where we all get frustrated with miss-leading products on amazon. Whatever happened to honesty? Let's boycott those products for the greater good.

Stand up through heavy use.
I consume a ton of battery power right now. I put 5/16 into things like remotes, which are still very much going strong. The other 11 have been cycled repeatedly through my Xbox One controller(s). There are many days in which a chronic illness knocks me out and I run a controller most of the day. Even with that usage, I estimate I change batteries once a week at most. I've recharged the most-used ones probably 6 or so times in 9 months. One thing I didn't want in Xbox use was a "battery pack", so these give me great flexibility and great performance.Summary: They're batteries. They hold zappy stuff. They won't disappoint. For heavy users, get a large set for good charge cycling.PROS:* No physical wear after 9 months of daily, heavy use.* I put them to charge before bed, they're ready before I wake up. Holds true after multiple charges.* From my searching, these seem to be the highest mAh rechargeables for the dollar amount.* All batteries worked well out of the package and were charged. I had no issues with buying 48 batteries and finding 17 didn't have any juice.* 2 year warranty even if the above didn't hold true for you.CONS:* I'm not sure how guttural "Zonhood" is supposed to be pronounced, or if it's as straightforward as it seems, or if I'm supposed to inflect in some way. In other words, I have no complaints.

Economical alternative
We use black lights in our business to identify stains in carpet. The lights take 6 AA batteries and have to be replaced frequently for the lights to be effective. With 6 service techs we were going through A LOT of batteries! Using these rechargeable batteries saves a lot of money compared to traditional batteries. They hold a charge well, maintaining the brightness of the lights, which saves time on the job. I also feel like we're helping the environment because we're not disposing of traditional batteries. I definitely recommend this product.

- Updated - Hmmm...
Update --> Seller shipped me a second set of these batteries and so far they have outperformed the original set by miles. Could be there was an issue with the original set (?) - not sure, but I haven't had any issues with this set. Based on the customer service received and better second set I'm adding a Star to my original rating. FYI <--Couple problems with these - initial charge didn't hold and I had to recharge them. They are a little bigger than a regular AA battery. That causes some issues with getting them in and out of the item I was using them for. Lastly - in colder weather, sub 38 degrees, they don't seem to supply power to the item I was using them in (trail camera). Above 38 degrees - trail camera worked fine. Contacted mfg about the issue thinking it was their camera and they pointed to the batteries as the problem - that's TBD in my opinion - but I'm still not sold on these batteries. Your results may vary...
