Purple worm compost bin is awesome
For the last year we have kept worms just in giant Rubbermaid containers. it was always a pain to get the worm tea out, and to change the dirt.we decided to splurge and go for this little worm house, and boy am I glad we did.It was super easy to put together, and it's working great. I read other reviewers saying that they had problems with the layers not fitting properly, or other issues. We had none.the only issue we had was that the first one that showed up was missing all of the hardware. We returned that and ordered another one, and it showed up with everything. It took less than an hour to assemble it, get all the dirt and move our worms over. It is way easier to take care of than our old bin system was. And the color is fun. Totally worth the price.

GREAT
I bought this in an inspired moment as a mother's day gift, replacing the random plastic bin my mom had been using. It was easy to assemble, and it really works!! My mom is on the 4th tray after about 6 months! She ordered the worms online and feeds them about once a week with compost and newspaper. She keeps the bin in the basement to keep the worms cooler (apparently they like this more) and they seem to be happy and are doing their thing! We haven't had any issues with other pests which other users have noted, and the "compost tea"/"worm juice" is a manageable amount. I would recommend this to anyone!

Looks good, works, functional
The media could not be loaded. Love the color! Since it’s new worms are still adjusting to their environment! I wasn’t a big fan of the directions. The instructions said to seek more information via website and the only videos the website had were about beekeeping. I ended up emailing the company and waiting for a reply amidst Covid. Can’t wait to get the first harvest of castings and worm tea!!

Our garden thanks you
This worm composted has been outside since we have received it. It has done exactly what it needed to do. Never had a issue with critters getting into it. Survived high winds and hail storms with zero damage. Highly recommended

There is a 1/8th to 2/8th of an inch gap around the entire bin!
I was very pleased with this product when it came in the mail. In fact I was down right excited! my boys were hyped about having worms to feed and take care of. Its coming up a month of me having this bin and I'm starting to need to add the second tray. After I set up the second tray I realize oh crap! any kind of bug can now crawl right into the first bin because there is a huge gap between the trays! that now exposes the entire first bin to all manner of flies, cockroaches, fruit flies you name it! I would recommend another bin or cramming newspaper or cardboard into the gaps. I'm kind of bummed.

It is a high quality plastic to hold hundreds of worms for composting.
I have owned one of these before, but moved and was unable to bring my old one with me. I enjoy having worms that will turn my household waste into good soil.
