SPLIT RAIL is a 7.5mm Waterproof Click Floor (including attached underlayment) that looks like a truly reclaimed hardwood floor, but has natural honey wood tones. It's A v-beveled edge detail creates an even more persuasive hardwood flooring look. Unlike traditional laminate flooring, Waterproof Click Flooring can be installed in kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, basements and laundry rooms where moisture can be an issue. With patented Unilin click technology and a 2mm EVA underlayment pad that is already attached to each plank, installation is a snap! The wear layer of Turtle Bay waterproof click flooring consists of a transparent vinyl with a top coating of UV cured urethane with microscopic ceramic particles suspended within for superior wear and stain resistance. Samples are 6-inches long. Planks are about 4-feet long and 7-inches wide. There are 12 planks per case for a total of 28.37 square feet per case. 500 and 1,000 square foot listings are rounded up to the nearest case. Coordinating woodgrain-matched t-moldings, reducers, end caps and stair noses are also available for purchase.

Sample Disappointment
I ordered 2 samples of the Split Rail flooring so that I could get an idea of the color variation and grain pattern. I received one piece of Split Rail (7.5mm/12mil wear layer) and one of Brera (8.5mm/20mil wear layer).For reference if you're considering either of these floors, the sample I received of the Split Rail was not indicative of the colors in the main photo, but closer to the dark "cherry' look" on the 3rd and 6th image...with no distinct graining on it.The Brera was not one of my selections due to uniformity of color and "pine" look, though I concede the quality is better based on thickness of the wear layer. The sample's color was much lighter than the main phot, and closest to photo #4 (bathroom). This flooring seems to be much more uniform in color.I'm disabled, so can not go to numerous stores trying to find the perfect flooring for our whole house remodel. On the other hand, relying on online photos has presented its own set of challenges.

Blunted corners from shipping on several pieces.
Beautiful, but some corners mashed by shipping. Don't have quite the real hardwood shine, either, but they look good enough and go together fast and easy.
