**Q: Is the "new" formula still in use? I see lots of negative reviews of it compared to the old formula.**
A: Hi Ryan!

Yes, the new formula is still in use. It's almost identical to the old formula.  The two major differences are the addition of CPC, a chemical clinically proven to kill the germs linked to gingivitis, and improving the flavor with xylitol, a natural sweetener with proven oral health benefits.

We understand that change can be difficult for some, and have seen many of the negative reviews and understand their concerns.  However, we've also seen as many, if not more, positive reviews of people who enjoy the new formula.

**Q: why include PEG-40????**
A: PEG-40 is used to increase viscosity. Polyethylene glycol of different lengths are used all over medicine. For example, PEG-3350 is MiraLAX.

**Q: Does this help remove tartar?**
A: Yes, it helps with tartar and bleeding of the gums

**Q: I know it says clean mint, but does that mean this is peppermint or spearmint?**
A: It’s a very light spearmint flavor.
