Seriously good upgrade for the sarb017
Superb quality bracelet. Well made, simple to fit and adjust and very comfortable. The sarb017 is fantastic, this bracelet takes it to another level. Arrived quicker far quicker than the ETA.

Seriously money well spent.
It’s a bummer when you love a timepiece face and dial, but the stock band isn’t very nice. I love my Seiko Alpinist- a perfect combination of deep green; gold and tones of silver and stainless steel. This metal band surpassed expectations. It looks factory finish, and was really easy to install. I bought a $10 watchmakers toolkit and it was super easy. Removing links was easy too, a simple flathead will do it. Now the watch is truly eye catching. It’s dressy enough for suit, yet refined enough for everyday wear. I love it.

I like it, but cannot rate it more than 3 out of 5
I love my Alpinist (SARB017) and decided to seriously upgrade it. My researches suggest that that this bracelet is the best choice now. That is true. But I cannot rate this product more than 3 out of 5. Here are my reasons (putting aside the price tag). For the good points, there are plenty. It has all the positive features of a good Angus jubilee bracelet, i.e. well-built, 100% solid links (including the curved ends), high-quality and precise screws dia. The bracelet is beautiful and is built to last very long…plus that it is designed for SARB017. I agree with all the good points that the manufacturer claims about this product (you can google it). However, now that I own it, I realise some noticeable downsides.First, the Alpinist is not a thick watch, but the Angus jubilee is one of the thickest bracelets. In my view, this is not a good design choice (maybe, the Super jubilee with thinner links gives a better suite). This bracelet does make the Alpinist become bulkier. In addition, the end links extend the watch lug-to-lug size significantly (up to more than 51mm). I have a medium-size wrist and this extension is still quite visible. When I look at the SARB017 with this bracelet, it likes a child with a new beautiful over-size pair of shoes. I was told given that you are the only one who looks at your watch and you will get used to it. Then, this issue will disappear over times (like my Dad’s logic - he bought me over-size shoes and told me that as I was growing, they would fit at the end!).Secondly, the curved ends do not 100% fit in the watch, they only fit 98%, leaving 2% movements. This means you can make slight zic-zac moves with the curved ends. I own a Longines and it curved ends cannot move at all (100% fit). I did my research and realise that the 2% movement is unavoidable with solid curved ends. If you want a 100% fit you need to go for non-solid ends. That is simply the required sacrifice for a completely solid bracelet.Notwithstanding the above points, it seems there is no better choice, so I do recommend this product to my friends.

Gorgeous bracelet. Compliments the Alpanist perfectly.
I have owned this bracelet for about two weeks now. The quality of this bracelet is spectacular. You get what you pay for people! It looks like a factory bracelet for the Alpanist. The screws are thick and durable, and make for easy bracelet adjustments. Clasp is very strong, and well built. This bracelet will easily outlive you. As for a few people mentioning sharp edges, I would like to help clear up any questions. As the bracelet is machined in arches, there is a little bit of the edge felt if you run your finger along the bracelet horizontally. However, it is not a dangerous sharp to your fingers or wrist. It is the side effect of very fine machining, and the style of the bracelet. It is very comfortable, heavy, gorgeous to look at, and makes the alpanist look like a $1000 dollar watch. It is a little pricey at $110, but it just destroys cheaper bracelets. I bought a $55 dollar oyster band for my SKX007, and it is a nice bracelet all things considered. This bracelet is far superior in every way. I could see this bracelet being stock on an affordable luxury Swiss watch. I have no regrets with my purchase!

It's all about those end links
This bracelet needs inverted end links something fierce. The way it is designed effectively adds near 5mm of extra lug to lug length. Taking a watch that is sized perfectly by Seiko and making it clunky and ugly. The worst part is the transition from the bracelet to the end link itself... its absurd. The end link is at least 3mm thinner then the first non intergraded link of the bracelet. This creates both a visual flaw as well as an uncomfortable wear. All that being said this is at least my 10 Miltat bracelet, and where some also suffer from poor transitions from end link to bracelet, this is the only one I have purchased that just doesn't cut it. Usually Miltat is the best aftermarket you can buy. I will buy from them again, I will just learn from this and look at the details more before pulling the trigger next time.
