Good price good show look forward to watching it many times

Before watching this series on Netflix a few years ago, I had liked some movie musicals: Les Miserables, Moulin Rouge, and Fiddler on the Roof. Since I am no where near a theater, I don't get to see stage musicals as often as I would like. Musicals at that time was a genre I enjoyed but were few and far between in terms of great quality. I had heard about this series, especially it's musical numbers, so I decided to check it out on Netflix. By the third season I was hooked. This is not only my favorite comedic drama series, it's one of my favorite series ever. On a list consisting of: Lost, West Wing, Young Justice, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Merlin, that's quite a feat. In a show that I thought would be typical teen drama in the first half of season 1 became a series which(much like Lost) is based entirely on characters. Though the musical numbers are a close second. There are so many reasons why this series should not work; take away any element of the series it ceases to be what it is. A lightning in the bottle that cannot be emulated. Not a perfect series, but perfectly fit for many.

Great quality box and packaging. Also nice to be able to see the entire series in order. I kind of wish there were some extras like backstage interviews, Director comments, something like that. But otherwise it’s a great purchase.

Just what I wanted. Now I can watch anytime at my leisure.

Glee was a wonderful show with great musical numbers and enticing story plots! You can’t go wrong here!!!

In watching this series, I realized I hadn't seen as much of the series as I thought I had. I found I came back time and time again to the fact the characters were locked into their stereotypical roles. The characters, even when confronted with tragedy didn't grow in their roles. Don't get me wrong, the music was absolutely stellar as was the dancing, but after six years of junior and senior high school choir, I telling you this ain't it. I found the topical issues of identity, bullying and petty squabbling to be right on target. The fact that they didn't spend much time on the problems of standardized testing and one size fits all education when they had six years of programming to do it in addition to loss of arts and humanities was disappointing. In fact, if anything they made fun to the extreme of funding manipulation for money making programs and how those who can successfully work the system become stars in the education system. In summary, the show was a great concept, did somethings very well, but it loses steam going into the fourth season and in the end there are no surprises.

Amazing series! I've become a uber fan of Darrin Criss (Blaine). Sings like an angel and has dance moves that i just can' t get enough of. I really loved the romance between Blaine and Kurt. I'm glad they got their wedding, finally. I loved the sectional/Regional/national comp , the dancing and singing were amazing. I still think they should have won against Throat Explosion though, Blaine knocked it out of the park with "More Than A Feeling"!!!! Awesome!!! And it would have been such a great moment for them to win it for Finn. Oh well, the writers always have their own agenda for future storylines I guess. This is a great series that can be enjoyed by anyone who loves great music and dancing.
