Chef Maggie ChowEasy Filipino Cookbook (The Effortless Chef Series)

Short but good. This short cookbook only has 35 recipes but the author will send many more for free at the end of the book (other cuisines). I want to try about half of these asap. The others are interesting as a visit to a different way of eating. I feel like there are keepers here that a Filipino friend might have shared.

The cookbook was an easy read and easy to understand. It was fun making some of my favorites.

I may not be able to pronounce the names but the recipes in this cookbook are very delicious. I don't know where this Chef is from but she sure can cook. Thank you and enjoy your meal and enjoy your day.

Have not used very often as yet.

A very good start for anyone wanting to eat foods from the Phillipines.

The recipes are good but there are no photos to show what you are making. Just a simple black and white list of recipes. Good for someone originally from the islands, but not for someone who doesn't know what the food is supposed to look like. I spent a lot of time on the Internet looking up the names of the recipes for pics just to realize I could have just searched for Filipino recipes in the first place without buying the book.

Mostly for beginners but i like that instructions are easy and simple and i see some dishes that aren't easily found on the internet. Worth it.
