Perfect starter kit! Great value!
I got this for my nephew. Graduation gift he Just finished trade school and is beginning his career as a plumber. Perfect starter kit for any solder job! Comes with everything he could possibly use to get him started! Luckily his first job was a gas water heater and he said it came in handy 100%!Great value!

Great soldering thingeee
I'm not an experienced solder-er. But I learned very quickly with this soldering iron. Easy to use and it heats up quickly and does a great job.

Worked for what I needed it to do.
Worked perfect for a cheap solution to my problem. Reworked some traces and pads that got lifted. I'm used to having a good soldering station to work with, but I sold it ages ago cause I haven't messed with this type of work in years. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money to fix something that only cost a couple hundred bucks to buy new. This was a cost effective way to fix my problem. I wouldn't suggest this for much else, but to be honest, really not that bad at all. It got hot and did the job. If you want a good station and are willing to pay a little more, but don't want to break the bank. The Hakko fx888d is wonderful.

Giddy with Excitement
I don't think I ever been so excited about receiving a product! I can't wait to get my hands on it and get starting making/repairing things. Maybe I will break things just for the hell of it! different heat settings are great feature
I have purchased other solder guns and Irons before, and was not happy with them.Then I purchased this Iron with multiple heat settings and am very happy with it. I can solder very fine wires, to heavy electrical wires with no problems. I rate this a great product so far.

Great soldering iron kit for the DIYer!
I do some stuff with my cars every now and then, and this is going to come in handy. Now if I was doing it every day I might get something more heavy duty, but with my usage this is working great.
