Recently we upgraded our cookware set to Homichef's stainless steel cookware and have ventured further into their catalog for other products. We saw the coffee container and decided to purchase the brown colored container at 21 ounces. This coffee container follows suit with all the other Homichef products in terms of appearance and quality.Pros:Energetic clasp. The clasp mechanism feels solid, has a larger enough flipper that makes opening and closing easy enough and the fit is very snug across the lid and body of the container.Light: The weight of the container is very light, which is a good thing in our eyes when you're filling up the 21 ounce void with fresh coffee grounds.Color and paint: The outside of the container appears to be powder coated much like you would do so on your Yeti coffee cup. I don't foresee any chips or fading anytime soonCons:No real cons with this product. It's simple, straightforward and looks great. There is an adjustable 2 part dial on the lid that allows for setting expiration dates for your ground coffee. We don't feel a need for this as we go through coffee very quickly, tho some may enjoy this feature.Bonus: The included stainless steel coffee scooper looks and feels great. Very pleased of it's quality!Homichef has continued to impress us with their products. The prices of their products are just right and quality is not compromised to achieve that price. If you're in the market to spruce up your kitchen with quality cookware and accessories but not looking to break the bank...give Homichef a serious consideration, you'll be recommending these items to your friends and family in no time.

This is a large storage container, definitely larger than my others, and it is very decent for the price. It does not come with any replacement Co2 filters. Other brands do for a higher price. That was no biggie to me since I have a surplus of them and they all seem to be the same. In fact, all of these containers with Co2 release valves are almost identical in design.The build quality may be slightly less than the premium brands. It's hard to tell if the stainless steel is thinner than my other containers that I paid more for. No matter, I'm happy for the price.

An attractive way to store either beans or ground coffee . The seal is well made and with the valve in top allows carbon dioxide to escape so coffee stays fresh. Read instructions before washing as the valve is not supposed to get wet. For those that want to keep track of the date coffee is stored there is a rotating calendar on top. I would defiantly recommend this canister. I ordered the 22 oz . which gives plenty of space for most bags of coffee. It would be great to have a lid that was detachable to make it easier to wash .

Love this canister! I am using it to keep my coffee in. It has an airtight seal & even came with a really nice 1/8 cup measuring cup. It has a hand programmable dial on top so you can put the month and day that you put your contents in. I chose the brown color over the stainless. Looks great too!

This canister holds exactly one 12 oz bag of ground coffee and its perfect. It is sturdy and the latch is secure yet easy to maneuver. It serves its purpose well and is affordable. The little mechanism for dating the freshness of the coffee is nifty too, but I don't really pay attention.

This is a great coffee canister. Its the perfect size for a pound of beans. The stainless finish is nicely done and the lid hinge is sturdy and easy to use. The lid seals tightly and the date wheel on the top is a nice touch. It even comes with a stainless coffee scoop. Would definitely buy again.

I have been looking for dark brown/bronze kitchen canisters for years but have had no luck. I was hoping these might work, so I ordered one to see. But it is no where near the dark brown color that I see in the online product photos. It is much more of a "muddy" brown. In addition, it arrived already scratched. So it is being returned and my search will continue.

I got this for free with the order of another HOMICHEF item but it is a great product. Its big for an airtight container so compare the size to others that you're more familiar with or you might just get something bigger than you want.The stainless is a good look and easy to clean.
