Its proportions are just right - narrow enough not to take up too much space in the kitchen, but deep enough to hold a week’s worth of rubbish. We did our research before purchasing and we definitely made the right choice. Our low point was trying a Josephjoseph ‘easy opening’ bin in John Lewis (£149), which declined to open, even with help from a shop assistant.
