Gutter Guards Expand Aluminum Downspout Protectors for Stopping Blockage Leaves Debris (4 Packs, 3 Inch)

These are about the least expensive downspout guards you can find at the time of purchase. I knew before purchasing that these guards would work okay in my square shaped downspouts, but they are really made for round downspouts. You just have to reform them while up on the ladder to get them to fit tightly. Not perfect, but they work and were the cheapest option on Amazon so I didn't have to go into a store during COVID.

I have a sunroom, that like many, uses an extruded aluminum frame with built in gutters. These gutters are narrower than your average residential troughs; which means that typical 'gutter guard' solutions would not work, and so my sunroom gutters would regularly clog and overflow. These "downspout protectors" do not keep you from having to occasionally clean the gutters, but do allow the gutter/downspout to function properly, and resist clogging for much longer than normal. There's nothing fancy about them, but for less cost than a case of beer, my problem has been solved. Can't ask for much more than that.

I had issues with leaves in my gutter clogging my downspout. Put in these gutter guards which helped; although, you still have to watch the gutter since the leaves still seem to pile up around the gutter guard but not as bad as before. Would recommend.

Well made and flexible yet durable as far as I can see.Very easy to install. You only need the right size, and gloves to avoid cuts.Working as expected so far, with no heavy rains yet, but lots of leaves blown by the wind.

This products really works, it keeps leaves and other smaller items from going going down the gutter drain.However, you will need to clean it very often as they will get clogged.

This was an easy fix for me, an ‘up in years’ gal. As a single homeowner, I recommend these. I can cross worrying about blocked gutters off my list now!

I used these in the end of our downspouts to block squirrels from climbing into them. They have worked great and now no more critters climbing up into our gutters.

Put them in my gutters works just fine so far.
