Painfully Perfect
Well, I'm not sure how much is left of my heart after this book. It was sliced open, put back together, shredded, put back together but with missing pieces, then completely ripped from chest and stomped on. Yes, by the end of it my heart was given back, but not the same. Never the same. This story hurt.. Not going to lie to you. I teared up countless times and cried actual tears twice (I'm not a big crier, so kind of a big deal).Ella Fields writing is so beautiful and she's not afraid to kill you with her words. Regardless of the pain, I loved this story. Stevie our main girl was pure, sweet, forgiving and resilient. She endured heartbreak so many times, I don't know how she could possibly function after heartbreak number two. But she did and she's so amazing, it's baffling.Everett. Oh Everett. I instantly loved him. I knew the minute Stevie met him, I would love him. He's so broken, yet so good. I loved that I could literally feel everything she felt when it came to Ever. All the angst, stolen moments and pain, I felt it to my core. I did spend a bit of time angry with him though, but I guess I can be forgiving too.Aiden is amazing. Sturdy and loving. I loved that he could make her happy even when she thought she never could be again. He was there when a lot of other guys in his shoes wouldn't be and that made me love him more. This is definitely a favorite of mine. I love when a story can bring feelings out of me and this beautiful journey of a young girl whose heart had room for two great loves did just that 💙

Great writing but she didn’t pick who I wanted in the end
Spoilers!!I thought this book was well written, kept me hooked from the very beginning, I finished it in two days. My issue is with how the book ended. I somewhat understood Stevie giving Everett multiple chances, because it shows how imperfect people and relationships can be. However, throughout the entire book I always thought she would end up with Aiden.Their chemistry was so obvious, he was a good guy, he was ready to raise her child with her even though it wasn’t his. It was more than just “he’s the good one but not the love of her life” trope because he was that, too.Everett had more than one opportunity and failed each time. He couldn’t even tell his own girlfriend that he was going to rehab. He just left her pregnant and alone. You’re telling me he couldn’t of sent her a text saying he was going to rehab??Not to mention, he was controlling, selfish, and always waltzed right back into her life making demands about their relationship and what she could/couldn’t do.I fell in love with Aidans character, his banter, and how much he loved Stevie. I just felt like he deserved better.

Amazing read! 💞
I recently read Serenading Heartbreak and it put my through the wringer. I loved the writing style and the story. The main characters Stevie, Everett and Aiden all were great and all of them had qualities I love. I'm a fan of love triangles because they usually come with loads of angst and this one was chock full of it. I felt all of the emotions the good and the bad. I was on a rollercoaster ride. I love a Hero with a tragic past and both of these guys had it in spades. I stayed up past my bedtime reading every night to see what would happen next. My only complaint was that we didn't get chapters in the guys POV. I definitely recommend it for those who love a good emotional read with a love triangle.*Spoilers below"He came wrapped in warnings of which I'd never heed. Every shade of gray, sunshine and rain-drenched days. A love that visited and never stayed.""Hearts are such unpredictable things, you can never control to whom they might sing.""In a world filled with thorns and poisonous flowers, somehow, I was lucky enough to find you. My clover ""Do you think you can fall for two different men, I mean really fall for them, and love them both at the same time?""Maybe, with time it'll fade. One love becomes louder than the other.""Souls were bound to knit to others. And where Everett was concerned, mine had stitched to his a lifetime ago.""We were never supposed to make something out of moments. We were always meant to build something out of lifetimes."

it was okay
This book started off very slow for me. It took me forever to get through a third of the book. It wasn’t until Aiden came on the scene that the story started to pique my interest. At the time, Everett was just too much of a selfish hot mess for me.I pretty much never read love triangle romance and this book is a perfect example of why I avoid them. The story felt like a girl who wanted her cake and to eat it too. She spent the entire book pining after both men. Ultimately, I hate the fact that all of this culminated into everyone getting hurt. No matter who she ends up with there doesn’t seem to be any winners in the end.As for the men, they were too consumed with Stevie. They seemed unable to function in their lives without her. They were both too dependent on her.Ultimately the ping ponging back and forth from one guy to the other was too much for my fragile heart.I was team Aiden. When it came to Everett I am fearful that he puts all of his eggs into her basket. That if she leaves him that he will relapse into his self destructive bad behaviors…too much pressure on her.Overall it was a good story

I have no words!!!
This book is captivating!!! I need a minute...There are no words....this a tragic love story and right to the end you don't know which way it's going to go. Not a dull part in this book. The author did an amazing job of keeping the reader in suspense. Loved this book and highly recommend it.

So good
“To fall in love twice was a beautiful rarity. To be in love with two men at the same time was a cruel twist of fate.”This book is absolutely incredible, and probably one of my favourite love triangle books EVER. Writing my review for this one is proving to be very hard because I just can’t find adequate words to express how much I adored it. If you aren’t scared of all the angst and emotion, and are fully prepared to go for a ride on one heck of an emotional rollercoaster, then you need to pick up this book NOW!!I was so torn between the two heroes in this story, I loved them both for different reasons. While I’m still not 100% sure that Stevie made the right decision (in my eyes), Ella’s writing was just so beautiful and convincing that in the end I didn’t really feel let down or disappointed. I think I would have felt this way no matter the outcome - happy for one and sad for the other, because I genuinely loved them equally.SERENADING HEARTBREAK is without a doubt going to be in my top reads of 2019, and I can’t wait to read it all over again.

Perfectly angsty, exceptional writing.
I laughed, I cried, I swooned, I fell in love, I had my heartbroken, again and again. And then Stevie did life for herself, grew up a little and life started to fall into place. But I still fell in love and cried again- happy tears this time.I want to add soo much to this but don’t want to give it away. Just know that Ella’s writing here is impeccable. I could feel the angst from the first page. By Chapter 5, I shed my first tear. I fell in love with Everett only to hate him not long after. And the same can be said for Aiden. He made me swoon, fall in love and the naivety that comes with young adults made me hate him. But then we went through it all again and you still couldn’t pick which one Stevie would choose. As Adela pointed out to her- choosing one would mean saying goodbye to the other. And that’s really hard when you have loved and been hurt by them both.I loved the ending, the HEA was perfect and the glance into the other persons HEA was fitting also.

So gut wrenching
Stevie fell in love with two men who both etched deep in her soul. I cried for her so many times. Both men left her and both came back and begged her to be with them again and again. Which guy would you choose if you were in her situation. This author has not disappointed in any of her book. A must read

This was a lovely charming book. It was predictable in places but I enjoyed the writing style and would recommend if you want something easy to read
